About Selina Schuh
I am an educator, speaker, writer and owner of Empowered Living Strategies. For over 25 years I worked in education, collaborating with students of all ages. Since creating a marriage that feeds my soul after years of struggle, I combined my passion for personal growth with my experience in effective teaching to create a step-by-step system, which walks clients through the process of building deeply connected relationships.
Today I work with women who are feeling frustrated or unappreciated in their relationships. Rather than looking into your past, like a therapist would, we assess what is going on in the current moment and implement strategies to move forward in a productive way.
Most of us have never taken a class in effective relationships. Instead, we blindly follow the examples that our parents have set for us, however misguided they might have been. In my first marriage, this is what I did, and it didn’t serve me well. The 16-year relationship ended in divorce.
However, as I was going through my divorce, I learned about the spiritual principles of co-creation. These principles teach that our mind has creative powers that allow us to collaborate with the Divine. The more I studied these principles I learned that there are actual strategies you can implement to create deeply connected and fulfilling relationships.
Today I’m happily married and the relationships keeps growing deeper because of the work we continue to do on our marriage. However, whether or not your partner is on board, you can create the change you are looking for by yourself. The steps are simple. I have laid them out in my book Becoming Your Own Knight in Shining Armor: A Guide to Love that Feeds Your Soul, available below.
To support you further in learning the steps, I host an online book club. In this book club, you can share your journey and can get help when you are stuck. Most of the participants absolutely love the sense of sisterhood that develops in the course. To find out more, click HERE.
