About Regina Lark, Ph.D.
Dr. Regina Lark earned a Ph.D. in U.S. History from the University of Southern California. Her dissertation focused on the relationships between Japanese women and American soldiers who met and married during the US Occupation of Japan. After graduation, Dr. Lark served as an adjunct professor at a community college. In early 2000, Regina worked with UCLA Women’s Studies program, and then joined UCLA Extension for adult learning. In 2008, two months after an unexpected lay-off from her position as a Program Director, Dr. Regina Lark founded her professional organizing company, A Clear Path: Professional Organizing and Productivity.
Regina is a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) and a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD). She is a graduate of the Organizer Coach Foundation Training Program, and is a Professional Member of the National Speakers’ Association.
Regina specializes in working with chronic disorganization, ADHD, and hoarding. Her team of “Ninja Organizers” offers expert de-clutter, organizing, and move and relocation services, and recently earned her industry’s highest designation as an Accredited Senior Move Manager.
In 2017, Dr. Lark released the 3rd edition of first book, Psychic Debris, Crowded Closets: The Relationship between the Stuff in your Head and What's Under your Bed (now available on Audible). She is also the author of Before the Big O: Professional Organizers Talk about Life Before Organizing.
In October 2021, Regina, along with her collaborator Judith Kolberg, release a new book, Emotional Labor: Why a Woman’s Work is Never Done, and What to do About It.”

Regina was named one of Top 10 Organizers in Los Angeles by CBS/KCAL Channel 2, and was also awarded NAPO-LA’s Most Innovative Organizer. And, since 2018, she’s Expertise.com in their Top 20 Los Angeles’ Professional Organizers list.
