About Ariel Hart
Ariel Hart is the pseudonym of Catherine Gigante-Brown, an author, editor and copywriter. Her works of fiction, nonfiction and poetry have appeared in publications as diverse as Ravishly, Essence, American Gardener, Huffington Post Woman and Dakota Oudoors. In addition, she has co-authored two biographies for Prometheus Books. A number of her short stories appear in women’s fiction anthologies. She has also penned scripts which have been produced by “small” independent film companies. Her novels The El and Different Drummer are both published by Volossal Publishing. She is currently working on a musical stage version of Different Drummer. Brown was born and bred in Brooklyn, New York, where she still lives with her husband and son.
