I am a college student, who also happens to be a birthmother. I'm studying American Sign Language Interpreting at my local community college. I work as Executive Assistant and Director of Publications for Stigma Fighters, a non-profit organization that encourages individuals with mental illness to share their personal stories. Making the adoption plan for my child was one of the most difficult things I ever had to do, but the beautiful relationship I have with their adoptive parents makes it all worth it.
