Holly Goodman is a freelance writer in Portland, Ore., and the mother of two amazing girls. She is a regular contributor to The Oregonian. Her fiction has appeared in Ohio State University's literary magazine, The Journal. She was named The Journal's the 2007 Alumni flash fiction writing contest winner. She spends Thursday evenings in Pultizer Prize-nominated novelist Tom Spanbauer's Dangerous Writing group in absolute awe of the writers gathered around his basement table.
