About Heather Box
Heather Box is an author and story coach working with change-makers around the world to share their truest personal stories publicly. Heather’s storytelling work creates a powerful bond between the storyteller and the audience, lighting up the places in the brain that create a connection between them. Her work is designed to enable the storyteller to reach out into the room and grab the listeners and shake them up, so they are ready to stand up and take action. Isn’t that what we all want? To have someone make us feel a little more and care what’s happening around us?
Heather founded a storytelling company, the Million Person Project, with her partner in life and love, Julian Mocine-McQueen, and together they have reached more than 3,000 people from 70 countries.
Heather lives in San Francisco with her partner, Julian Mocine-McQueen, and their 4-year-old, Roman. She is the co-author of How Your Story Sets You Free and has been published in Your Tango, Source Magazine, Foreign Policy Focus, Ms. Magazine, Huffington Post, and Stark and Smith Magazine.
