About Niki Payne
Hi, I’m Niki Payne, a clinical hypnotherapist and relationship coach based in Torrance, CA. My journey into the world of hypnotherapy wasn’t a straight line—it was more of a winding path filled with personal growth, challenges, and a deep desire to help others find their own way, just as I had found mine.
Growing up, I was always fascinated by the mind—how it works, why we think the way we do, and how our thoughts shape our reality. But it wasn’t until I faced some of my own personal challenges that I truly began to appreciate the power of the subconscious mind. I realized that many of the struggles we face in life—whether it’s anxiety, self-doubt, or unhealthy habits—stem from deep-seated beliefs and patterns that we’re not even aware of. And that’s where hypnotherapy comes in.
My interest in hypnotherapy was sparked when I sought to overcome personal insecurities related to my love life. I had tried traditional therapy, but I felt like I wasn’t getting to the root of my issues. That’s when I discovered hypnotherapy, and it was a game-changer for me. It helped me uncover and heal old wounds, change my mindset, and ultimately transform my life. Experiencing that profound shift firsthand inspired me to dive deeper into the field so I could help others do the same.
I decided to pursue a master’s degree in clinical psychology, specializing in marriage and family therapy. This education gave me a strong foundation in understanding human behavior, relationships, and the complexities of the mind. However, it was my training in hypnotherapy that allowed me to bridge the gap between traditional therapy and a more holistic approach to healing.
Now, as a practicing hypnotherapist, I’m passionate about helping my clients unlock the power of their subconscious mind. Whether you’re looking to overcome a specific challenge, like losing weight or managing stress, or you’re on a journey of self-discovery and personal growth, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
In addition to my work in hypnotherapy, I’m actively involved in my community as an avid volunteer for a student organization based in Long Beach, California. I believe that healing and growth don’t just happen in a therapist’s office—they happen in our everyday lives and interactions. That’s why I make it a point to engage with my community, whether it’s through local events, workshops, or simply being a supportive presence for those around me. I’m also a big advocate for mental health awareness, and I’m always looking for ways to contribute to this important cause.
When I’m not working with clients, you can find me enjoying some of my favorite pastimes. I love singing karaoke—there’s something so freeing about belting out a favorite song. I also enjoy playing softball, reading a good book, and watching movies. These activities help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance in life.
At the end of the day, I do what I do because I genuinely care about helping people live their best lives. I know what it’s like to feel stuck, and I also know what it’s like to break free and thrive. If you’re ready to make a change, I’d be honored to support you on your journey.
