About Audrey Groeschel
My thoughts. My beliefs. My philosophy
- It is our job to be responsible and to take care of ourselves. No one can do it better. When we do, we have more to offer those we love and can give selflessly to them.
- Love is what we want most in our lives. To give and to receive.
- The bravest thing you can say is I love you. The next best is to say what you really mean to someone who is important to you. It may be the hardest thing to do but it has the biggest pay off.
- Laughter feels glorious! Especially when we feel rotten.
- Reading is the best gift you can give yourself. Even if it's a nice, juicy romance (or maybe especially).
- Quiet is precious, but loud is excellent!
- Say what you mean and don't be mean.
- We own our feelings, thoughts, and actions. No one can force us to feel or do . Getting your feelings hurt is a choice and one we have to make consciously. The power in that is freeing.
- DO something. Anything that makes you uncomfortable.
- Life is about choices. If you choose not to decide, choices are made for you; but not by you, and not for your benefit. Who you are and the ability to make your own choices is a gift. Blame gives your power away.
- Everyone is always doing the best they can, even when it doesn't look like it.
