About Megan Pollock
I am a Relationship and Sex Therapist with a focus on clients with non-traditional and/or alternative lifestyles and sexualities.
Having lived and traveled extensively throughout America, Europe, and Asia, my world-view embraces cultural diversity, individualism, and spirituality. Employing a systemic perspective, I see each client as having an interconnected life--incorporating family, friends, work, sociological influences, etc. I also recognize that what works for one client may not work for another. I firmly believe that while we are each experts on our own lives, we sometimes need help from others to be the best that we can possibly be. I am not here to judge and support your right to live your life, as long as it is Safe, Sane, & Consensual.
With over 10 year experience, I have assisted a diverse population of clients within a number of settings (clinics, in-patient, incarceration, and schools). By helping clients with a wide-array of problems, I have developed a solution-oriented, practical approach. Clients have described me as compassionate, calm, direct, and humorous. I have an interactive approach and am unafraid to tackle the big issues and give my clients a kick in the butt when warranted.
