About Elizabeth Stern
Elizabeth has 13 years of experience in medical publishing. Her extensive work history comprises roles at the American Psychological Association, the American Society of Hematology, The American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Psychiatric Association, and several scholarly peer-reviewed, scientific journals.
She has been recognized for the outstanding work she has contributed to her field, including her induction into the Honors Society for Women in Science, Iota Sigma Pi.
A former member of the renowned Council of Science Editors, Elizabeth has also been a contributing member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the Society for Scholarly Publishing.
She was unanimously elected Founding President of the George Mason University Honors College Alumni Chapter, served as a member of the Executive Board of the George Mason University Alumni Association, and continues to serve the Honors College Alumni Chapter in her role as Immediate Past President.
Elizabeth has been a longstanding member of the community in her hometown, Washington, D.C., where she advocates for survivors of sexual violence. She is an avid supporter of expanding access to mental healthcare, promoting the arts, and other novel philanthropic initiatives.
