Katie Hunter-Lowrey

Katie Hunter-Lowrey is a Crime Survivor Organizer and Policy Advocate with the Promise of Justice Initiative where she organizes Louisiana Survivors for Reform, a coalition of crime survivors, homicide victims' family members, and community organizations supporting criminal justice reform. She is also an organizer for Nola to Angola, a 170-mile bicycle ride fundraiser that raises money for Cornerstone Builders Bus Project, which provides free buses to connect families separated by incarceration. Katie earned her BA in International Studies from the University of New Orleans with a concentration in Peace & Justice.
