About Cecilie Croissant
As a licensed professional counselor (LPC), I love to work with both couples and individuals to find healing, reconciliation, and growth. I am owner of Path of Hope Counseling, a private practice in the Tulsa OK area. http://pathofhopecounseling.com. I am a member of American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and American Counseling Association (ACA) and hold a Master of Marriage and Family Therapy degree from Southern Nazarene University. Several years ago I completed coursework in Christian Leadership (William Jessup University, Rocklin, CA) and way back I studied Music at the University of Oslo, Norway.
I started Path of Hope Counseling in March of 2016 in Owasso, Oklahoma and offer individual, couple, and family counseling. Most of my adult life has been spent in various settings of helping people move forward in their lives, including pastoral ministry, national and international speaking engagements, Christian Leadership instructor, directing a School of Worship program at Victory Bible College, and many years as a music director. I love to teach and am currently is an adjunct professor at Southern Nazarene University in Tulsa, OK, as well as a speaker at leadership and marriage conferences in Peru, Italy, and other nations. I have an extensive background in Christian ministry, and was given an Honorary Doctorate of Divinity in 2018.
I was born and raised in Norway and came to the US to attend Bible College. I developed early a passion to help people experience lasting transformation. As an ordained minister I self-published a few books about spiritual transformation, and when I studied counseling modalities in school, I came across approaches that wonderfully lined up with the biblical principles and insight that I already had experienced and taught for years. As a certified EMDR therapist (emdria.org), I see many clients move out of trauma and stuck places into a place of greater freedom and hope. I find that very little is impossible to change if someone is willing to make the journey!
