About Sheila Weber
Sheila Weber, executive director of National Marriage Week USA--February 7 to 14th each year--has been spokesperson on more than 500 radio programs and 100 TV shows and secured coverage in major national media for the cause of marriage and other issues. She has a Masters in Public Policy from New York University, her thesis being "The Role of Public Policy on the Dissolution of a Marriage Culture." Sheila was a writer at McCall's magazine, a press aide for a U.S. Senator, a film actress, a public relations director for major nonprofit organizations, Vice President of Communications for the Bible Literacy Project (widely acclaimed first textbook for public high school academic study of the Bible), and media consultant for the Institute for American Values, a leading research organization on issues of marriage and family. She lives in midtown Manhattan and is married to a clergyman who was formerly the chaplain to the NY Yankees for more than a decade, and who currently provides private pastoral care for couples in marriage crisis. Sheila seeks to increase media coverage about the benefits of marriage and spread news about how people can find help or enrichment for their own marriages, or how to reach out and serve others in their community.
