About Dianne Keilholtz
I am the owner and president of Launching College Success, a college coaching and consulting business, located in Bradenton, Florida and Martinsburg, West Virginia. I retired from the Frederick County, Maryland public school system in June 2013 after working for 28 years as a high school counselor. During my time in public education, I was instrumental in supporting over 1,500 students in the college admissions process. I spearheaded the AASPIRE Project, a program designed to teach and advise the African-American population in Frederick, Maryland about the importance of Advanced Placement and rigorous academics in college admissions. I also organized and facilitated many evening events on various aspects of college admissions, including financial aid and scholarships.
I am passionate about helping students and families with all aspects of the college admissions process. As the eldest of eight, I was raised outside of Washington DC and was the first person in my family to attend and graduate from college. I received a bachelor degree in Special Education from Hood College in 1984. In 1995, I earned my Masters of Science degree from McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland. I am a National Certified Counselor. Currently, I have clients in Florida, West Virginia, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Illinois. When not working, I love spending time with my family, including my husband of 34 years, Fred, my four children, and my five beautiful granddaughters.
