Top 10 British Celebrity Crushes
Robert Pattinson, Posh & Becks, the Bond girl and Daniel Craig: YT's fave sexy British imports.
It was a big week for Brits in Hollywood: Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe said he thinks Robert Pattinson is a handsome chap (um, who doesn't), Posh and Becks spent hundreds of thousands on one weekend holiday (see below), and Daniel Craig got engaged to Bond girl Gemma Alterton. Our mates from across the Atlantic are seriously dominating our headlines—and we Celebrity Love it. Here's our list of sexy super-faves where we asked in our best English tongue, "What's your relationship stay-tus?"
Daniel Radcliffe This little love wizard put a crazy spell on us this week with his comments that Robert Pattinson is smoking hot and that kissing Emma Watson would be "incestuous" (so what, Morgan Freeman does it). Daniel is reportedly single and content, even if he was cyber-stalked some Australian girl last year—but heeeyyy...how come everytime a new movie comes out, celebrities start saying wacky things about their sexual preferences? That couldn't just be for publicity, could it? Whatev. Potter's a hottie.
Victoria and David Beckham Posh & Becks are such a wicked package that we just couldn't separate them. Last weekend they spent a reported $200,000 to celebrate their anniversary, and have you seen their new Armani ads? Oh Em Gee. This week a report came out that David's man crush on Tom Cruise may be interfering with other aspects of his life (like, soccer; see below)—but make no mistake: the sexy Beckhams, now married for one sparkling decade, are together for the long haul.
Guy Ritchie Poor Guy. He's been a super-trooper as newly-single mom Madonna cavorts from the U.S. to London then Paris on her latest concert tour. However we don't really think Guy's suffering. Since the divorce he's been linked to Elle MacPherson and Sienna Miller's millionaire ex-stepmom. But boy do we miss his adorable English face in our supermarket tabloids...
Susan Boyle Back off, Susan Boyle's a babe. None of the Britain's Got Talent stars who have made headlines since her breakout last April have held a candle to her. Who besides this 48-year-old could girate their hips in front of Simon Cowell, admit on worldwide TV that they'd never been kissed, and turn down a porn contract—and still be totally intriguing?
Robert Pattinson Ohhh. I know I'm old enough to be his babysitter...but if Robert Pattinson were a U.S. president, he'd be Babe-raham Lincoln. This week we heard buzz that the Twilight superstar and Kristen Stewart have officially split (yes! read here) and he's gone after Emilie de Ravin (doh). And while we're not too happy for what he said about American girls this week, with lips like that, he gets a pass.
Kristen Stewart Looks like Bella Swan's been sacked. (That's British-English for "dumped." Come on you guys.) We haven't heard much from her regarding her break from RPat, but it doesn't sound like things are going great. This weekend there are reports that she's receiving hate mail from his admirers—but why? They're over! (And we hope these writers aren't American...we don't want an undesirable reputation with those Brits.)
Lily Allen She's a mouthy little thing, isn't she? Gotta love a girl with spunk. (No puns intended, seriously.) This mega-pop star may be mega-controversial with all the discussion about her kinky oral sex history...but you know what? We like her style. She's reportedly dating Australian singer Daniel Merriweather after her 2008 miscarriage and split from Chemical Brothers' Ed Simon.
Amy Winehouse Ouch. It's never-ending drama-rama in the romance department for Amy Winehouse. Hubby Blake Fielder-Civil filed for divorce in Janaury after he saw tabloid photos of Amy carousing with another bloke, and then in April it was reported that Blake had knocked up a mother of two while in rehab. Never a dull moment for the throaty old-school singer...but maybe a little bit of normal wouldn't be so bad.
Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani British-American marriages are hot, just ask Gavin and Gwen. Ever since their 2002 weddings (yes, that's plural, they had ceremonies in London and Los Angeles so she could wear her dress twice) and the 2005 and 2008 births of their sons, they have become a fixture in popular culture. We're just really happy that Gwen doesn't speak with that pseuo-English accent like Madonna and Gwyneth do now.
Leona Lewis Is this woman beautiful, or what. The "Bleeding Love" wonder and London native is pretty much off the dating market as she's been with boyfriend Lou Al-Chamaa for over a decade (can you say common law?), but she's too gorgeous to leave off our British crush list. Even if we can't eat the crumpets we can still admire what's in the pastry case. 10 Famously Unwed Couples
