How Your Life Will Change When You Stop Suppressing Your Feelings
Letting go of your feelings will give you a clear mindset and a clean slate.

Expressing feelings is extremely difficult for many people.
The reality is, though, if you don’t let out your feelings, you will never be able to move forward from your problems.
If you bottle up your feelings, you’re never going to close the chapters you no longer need.
I know firsthand what it’s like to suppress your feelings just because you’re afraid of what will happen if you release them.
But I learned the hard way that when you suppress your feelings, it’s harder to find happiness in life.
You end up stuck on emotions from painful memories you’ve held onto forever.
If you keep hanging on to everything that’s weighing you down, you can’t live your best life.
Letting go of your feelings will give you a clear mindset and a clean slate.
Once you release your emotions, you will begin to feel far better about everything that has been bothering you. You will gain the ability to close the dark chapters of your life and reach towards happier times.
If you don’t share your feelings, you won’t be able to live a healthy life or build loving relationships with others.
For example, I didn’t know my biological father until I turned 18.
Before that, I felt like he had abandoned me, and I struggled with not having any answers, but I kept my feelings to myself.
At first, it was difficult to connect with him because I had held in so many complicated emotions.
Once I let go of those difficult, confusing emotions and made an effort to connect with my biological father, though, I was better able to understand him.
Hearing his side of the story freed me from the emotions I had been afraid to release for so long.
Even though our story had a sad ending, I was able to end a phase of my life and move forward, all because I was willing to express my thoughts.
If you feel stuck in a chapter of your life and don’t know how to move forward, try naming and expressing the emotions that you feel.
Once you let out everything you’ve been feeling, you will let go of the pain, start to heal, and move forward into a new chapter of your life.
