Evan Rachel Wood Installed Bulletproof Windows In Her Home After Marilyn Manson Allegedly Threatened Her Son
She fears for her safety.
Court documents have revealed that Evan Rachel Wood had to take precautionary measures after Marilyn Manson claimed he would attack her family following her accusations against him.
Wood, who was in a relationship with Manson from 2007 to 2010, said she had to install bulletproof windows, steel doors, and a security fence around her Los Angeles home.
In legal papers filed in March, Wood said she became “very concerned” for the safety of her 8-year-old son since accusing Manson of abusing and grooming her while in their relationship.
Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, has been involved in a slew of domestic violence allegations, with multiple women accusing him of physical and sexual assasult.
An investigation by the LA County Sheriff’s Department was opened back in February against Manson and the influx of accusations.
Marilyn Manson allegedly threatened Evan Rachel Wood's son.
According to court documents filed as part of Wood's ongoing custody battle with ex-husband Jamie Bell, Wood claimed Manson once threatened “to f—k” her 8-year-old son, Jack.
In legal documents obtained by the DailyMail, Wood said that the pending investigation along with the allegations of human trafficking and sexual exploitation of minors against Manson made her ramp up security at her home.
The documents also claim that another alleged victim of Manson’s recorded the musician saying that he had taken pictures of Wood's son and even obtained his Social Security number.
Wood even considered getting “attack dogs and security at night” from the fear of Manson trying to attack her son and possibly her.
"I am extremely afraid of [Marilyn Manson]. I have suffered severe, traumatic physical and emotional injury at his hands, and I am afraid he will seek retribution against me for testifying by harming me, my son, and members of my family,” Wood wrote in the court documents.
"In my experience, the alleged offender is very retaliatory and has always made it clear that he will ruin my life,” she continued.
Jamie Bell and Evan Rachel Wood are locked in a complex custody battle.
Bell is accusing the actress of moving their son from Los Angeles to Nashville to keep him away from his father.
In the documents, Wood confirms that she has a house in Nashville, and decided to move their with her son full-time because of her fear of Manson and her “ability to function and maintain safety in a long-term living situation in Los Angeles is untenable.”
Wood also revealed that she has been the recipient of worrying death threats from Manson’s fans after coming forward with her abuse accusations.
“I believe that me and [my] son are significantly safer in Tennessee where we are far away from the alleged offender, active criminal case, the alleged offender's network of fanatic supporters, and the paparazzi," Wood added.
In response to her filing, Bell says that Wood's claims "defy credibility."
“I frankly do not understand what is happening,” he said. “Either Evan’s claims that she is receiving ‘death threats’ are true and Jack is not safe in her care, or they are not true and she is withholding our son from me for other reasons of her own invention.”
Wood is one of many women who accused Manson of sexual violence.
More than a dozen women have spoken out against Manson, detailing the horrific claims that the 52-year-old allegedly sexually abused and electrocuted women, locking them in a soundproof room in his home, and refusing to give them food or let them sleep.
Just last month, Manson’s home was raided by authorities after being granted a search warrant.
The search was in connection to the ongoing investigation into Manson, and the accusations from over 15 women, including Wood.
TMZ was first to report the raid that happened while Manson was not home.
Detectives forced entry and seized media storage units and hard drives that are to be submitted later for review before the case is brought to the district attorney’s office.
Manson is currently facing three lawsuits from women who have accused him of sexually absuing them in the past, including his ex-girlfriend Ashley Morgan Smithline, and actress Esmé Bianco.
There had been a fourth lawsuit filed by a “Jane Doe” but was dismissed in court due to expiration of the statute of limitations on his accuser's claims.
Manson has repeatedly denied the claims, stating that all of his relationships have been “entirely consensual with like-minded partners” and calling all of the accusations against him “horrible distortions of reality.”
