The Spiritual Reason Why Songs Get Stuck In Your Head
Is your guide or angel having fun while getting a message through?
One day last week, I was walking down the street with a song playing in my head. Actually, it had been going for many days, over and over and over again.
Has this ever happened to you? Why do songs get stuck in your head?
If you follow synchronicity and attempt to find the meaning behind things that come up in your life, catchy tunes that get stuck in your head can present a fun challenge.
These repetitive songs are different from the chance song that pops up on the radio or that can be heard from a passing car.
I liken the chance song to a lightning strike. It comes in suddenly, makes a big impact as it lights things up, and then leaves you reeling in its aftermath.
With these one-off events, the shock value seems to assist in opening up the connection and making them easier to figure out — the connection between what just happened and what’s going on in your life.
Why do songs get stuck in your head? What’s the message trying to come through?
Getting a song stuck in your head can be equal parts fun or annoying, but it's also an easy way for a guide, angel, Source, or whomever to get messages through to you.
Our guides regularly make attempts to get messages through. When it doesn’t work, they have to go back to the drawing board to orchestrate something new that they think will be better.
This goes on continuously throughout our lives.
But with a song, they can just play it over and over and over again until, hopefully, you eventually get it. And not just that, one song can be used to deliver a number of messages.
At first glance, you might think, "It’s just that song again."
But once you stop to listen, you'll find that it’s usually not the whole song but just certain parts and words.
Then, by correlating them with the current issues prominent in your life, you'll notice answers and direction coming through loud and clear.
On a different day, you might notice different parts of the song standing out. The new part will have new words coming to the forefront, a new feeling being brought up, and a new message to decipher.
For myself, I often find that there’s a particular message attempting to come through which answers questions, addresses issues, or is trying to open me up to following a new path.
Once I get the connection, the song quickly fades. It does return at times to reinforce what is needed, but amazingly often with different words or lyrics standing out.
The next time a song is incessantly running through your mind, there are a few things you can look at to find what’s attempting to come through.
With the song itself, look at:
The name of the song.
The particular words or lyrics currently playing.
How the song makes you feel.
The person who is singing or performing the song.
With the events directly surrounding the songs playing ask yourself:
When did the song first get stuck in your head??
What generally triggers it to start replaying?
What was happening just before the song started playing this time?
If you woke up with it on your lips, what was the dream about?
Then take notice of the following in your life:
Is the song connected with a particular person, place, or event?
Anything happening which brings up a similar feeling as the song.
Questions you’ve been seeking answers to.
Active issues consuming your time, emotions, or headspace.
Possible new life paths that it’s guiding you towards.
Like all synchronicities, once the message comes through, it fades away.
So, if you think that you’ve worked out the message but the song keeps going strong, look for something else. There’s most likely an additional component you haven’t understood yet.
It's true, lightning strike epiphanies can be interesting in their dramatic flair and shock value. But, most people I know wouldn’t like being hit by a bolt of lightning every single day.
The gentle approach of a song being stuck in your head can bring far-reaching results without any sudden shocks.
Don’t forget to thank your guides for finding a fun way to get their messages through!
