40 Spring Break Quotes — Plus The Best Travel Tips For When You're Traveling Abroad
Catching flights, not midterms.
Have you been dreading the days and weeks in your office or classroom? Staring at the computer screen wishing it were a beach? The feeling of wanting to pack your bags and leave for the next available flight is something I think about doing at least twice a week.
When you have the opportunity to finally book a spring getaway, even if it is for the weekend, a wave of relief crashes down on you and the only thing you can do is wipe the sweat off your forehead.
Spring break is one of the reasons I enjoy having classes during the spring semester. It gives me something to look forward to every day.
I have six tips that'll ensure a safe and fun trip when traveling abroad for Spring break.
1. Check-in with your doctor and insurance carrier.
Make sure you are up to date with all vaccines and medical prescriptions. Double-check with your insurance company if your policy applies for overseas emergencies.
2. Bring a copy of your passport.
In the event of your passport being lost or stolen, you should always have a copy to make sure you're able to get back into the country.
3. Register with your embassy.
If there are any issues within the country you are in, doing this will make it easier for your government to contact you and ensure you're safe.
4. Always carry cash.
Not every country accepts credit cards in certain markets or transportations. Be sure you bring enough cash for the day you will be out just in case.
5. Activate your phone's global capabilities.
Roaming data charges cost way more than doing this. It's better to be safe than sorry!
6. Bring a charger adapter.
Every country has different sized outlets, so you'll want to make sure you are going to be able to charge your equipment. Also, check the voltage of your electronics!
And now to lighten the mood even more, here are our collection of the best Spring break quotes to get you excited about traveling:
