Meet 'Bachelor' Front Runner Hannah Ann Sluss, Who's Coming For Peter Weber's Heart On 'The Bachelor' This Season
This lady is definitely one to watch on 'The Bachelor'.
Another year is finally here, and that means fans also get another season of The Bachelor, which premiered on Monday, January 6.
But even though only one episode has aired so far, there's already a front runner for Peter Weber's heart: Hannah Ann Sluss, who has already caught this pilot's eye in a major way... and now, fans are starting to pay attention, too.
So who is The Bachelor's Hannah Ann? Here's everything you need to know about the woman who might end up with the final rose when Weber's journey to love comes to an end this spring.
1. Who is Hannah Ann on 'The Bachelor?' She's a 23-year-old model from Knoxville, TN.
According to her ABC bio, Sluss is incredibly close with her family, especially since she still lives at home with her parents — and she seems to have a love for anything artsy and HGTV.
"She travels the world for work and would love to find man to join her on the adventure. She has a cute southern twang which, we know, Peter is a sucker for," says her bio. "Hannah Ann describes her last relationship as all chemistry but little friendship. Now, Hannah Ann is ready to find a man who she can be best friends with while keeping the steamy romance alive. We have a feeling this won't be a problem for Pilot Pete."
2. Her Instagram is already influencer-ready.
While some contestants come on to The Bachelor without much social media clout, that's not the case for sluss. She already has well over 150k followers on Instagram, and since she's a model, many of the photos on her account are professionally taken. Given that many Bach stars leave the show hoping for social media fame, it seems like Sluss already has that part in the bag.
Also worth noting? She's friends with Hannah Godwin, who competed on Colton Underwood's season of The Bachelor and went on to fall in love with Dylan Barbour last summer on Bachelor In Paradise.
3. Her main claim to fame is starring in a Chris Lane music video.
Like we said, Hannah's not nobody, and her modeling career landed her a gig starring in country singer Chris Lane's music video for "I Don't Know About You," which was released in 2018.
Fun fact: This isn't Lane's only tie to Bachelor Nation. Last year, he married Lauren Bushnell, who was best known for being Ben Higgins' final pick on The Bachelor in 2016.
4. On The Bachelor, Hannah Ann scored the 'First Impression' rose from Peter.
On every Bachelor season premiere, one of the women is lucky enough to score a rose for making the best first impression, and this time around, that honor went to Sluss.
Most of the time, the contestant who wins this rose ends up being a front runner for most (if not all) of the season, so if her instant chemistry with Weber is any indication, it seems likely that Sluss will be sticking aorund for a long time.
5. Fans aren't impressed with the way she behaved on the first episode.
Although Sluss made a good first impression on Weber, she didn't necessarily do the same when it came to fans of the show (or the other women in the mansion). She stole Weber away from other conversations three times so she could have more time with him, and it seems like there's a very good chance she could be at the center of the drama from the rest of the season on ... despite how innocent she might look.
It's important to remember that this time-stealing happens every season of the show, though, and this time, it was Sluss — and obviously, it worked, since she did get that rose.
6. Weber seems super into her already.
In fact, while he appeared on a Bachelor podcast with former Bachelorette stars Becca Kufrin and Rachel Lindsay, he defended Sluss' actions, saying that by stealing him away, she was just being "intentional" — and it seems like that's a pattern for the rest of the season on.
“Hannah Ann was someone that... that girl knew exactly what she wanted coming into this and never let me question that,” Weber said. “And I literally mean that from the beginning. She was the first person to steal me away for the first conversation. She was the first kind of normal kiss. Not from like the first entrances. We clicked immediately.”
But will their chemistry last through group dates, one-on-ones, and plenty of drama? Guess we'll find out, but for now, it seems like Sluss is here to stay.
