90-Day Fiancé Spoilers: Are Anna And Mursel From 90-Day Fiancé Still Together?
He friended her on Facebook because they both love beekeeping.
After a whirlwind summer season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way and 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, fans are ready to settle in for the latest season of the OG series of the franchise. 90 Day Fiancé returns this coming Sunday with seven brand new couples. As always, the Americans have brought their foreign love interests to the United States on K1 visas. The so-called fiancé visa is valid for 90 days and they either need to get married or the non-American has to leave the country.
One couple on this new season is Anna and Mursel. Unlike many past 90DF couples who met because one person was posting sexy photos and caught the other person's eye, Anna and Mursel bonded over a shared interest: beekeeping. Love bloomed long distance for these pollinator aficionados and they found a way to meet in person. A few months later, they were engaged and started working on bringing Mursel to America.
Now, they are trying to integrate Mursel into Anna's family and figure out how to break it to Mursel's family that Anna already has children.
Are Anna and Mursel from 90 Day Fiancé still together? Read on for all the details and some major spoilers.
1. Meet Anna from Nebraska
Anna is a 38-year-old mother of three from Nebraska. So far, there haven't been any leaks about her past relationships so fans don't have a sense of what her prior marriages or partnerships were like. There are a few photos of her three sons on her Instagram page and they appear to range in age from elementary to high school. It seems like she has been single for a while, though. Her official bio from TLC says "As a full-time mom of three, Anna never thought she would find love again, and not on social media of all places," but Mursel hit her up with a Facebook friend request and they started getting to know one another.

2. Meet Mursel from Turkey
TLC is not sharing any details about Mursel except that he, too, is 38 and he's from Turkey. His Instagram has only three photos on it so that's not shedding any light onto his life. The photos he does post aren't captioned so there's nothing to glean from his social media either.

3. Shared love of beekeeping
The one thing we know this couple shares is a passion for beekeeping. Anna has a business called Beauty and the Bees Honey, which is, hands down, the best name for a bee-related business. She cultivates her own hives and produces specialty honey and beeswax products that she sells online and at farmers' markets. One of Mursel's three Instagram photos is of himself with an insert from a hive so he appears to have bees, as well. TLC notes that Mursel friended Anna to talk more about beekeeping. They started swapping pictures of bees and their friendship deepened into something with a bit more buzz.
4. No shared language
One obstacle between these two is a lack of shared language. This is less of an issue while chatting online since text translators are easy to come by. But audiences have seen more than one couple on this series — Paul and Karine, we're looking at you — use apps to talk to one another and it's not great television and not great for communication in a relationship.
5. Meeting face to face
TLC says that Anna was the one to travel for their first face to face meeting. She took a trip to Turkey to meet Mursel and it must have gone well. She didn't come home engaged, however. Unlike many previous couples on this show, they don't seem to have considered that first meeting the moment to begin the rest of their lives. She returned to the U.S. and they kept up their long-distance love affair for a few more months before Mursel proposed and they started the K1 process.
6. Secrets and tears
The language barrier isn't the only obstacle this couple is facing. They are keeping a secret from Mursel's conservative family in Turkey. Three secrets, actually: Anna's kids. TLC notes that Mursel's family doesn't approve of having children out of wedlock so they have hidden her kids from them so far. In a clip in the preview, one on Anna's sons says he doesn't know if Mursel is in love with his mom; it's a reasonable question if he can't even be fully honest about her family with his own family. In another clip, Mursel expresses regret about having to hide her kids this way and the two of them are seen tearfully saying goodbye in an airport. She begs him not to go, but the camera follows him as he walks away from her, quietly crying the whole way.
7. Big spoilers now
The airport scene is enough to make any fan of the show worried that this is the couple that will break all our hearts this season. Watching people who sincerely love one another torn apart by cultural and family expectations would be tragic. But Starcasm did some digging and there is good news: Anna and Mursel got married in September. Court records show that they tied the knot in Nebraska. No word on whether they worked bees into the ceremony.
We'll all get to see much more of Anna and Mursel when 90 Day Fiancé premieres on November 3, 2019.
