The Party Personality Of Each Zodiac Sign
Are you a party animal or more low-key?
Some people live for parties, while others would rather chill out at home and watch Netflix. And one of the best ways to learn about human behavior is to study astrology. Not everybody born under the same zodiac sign is going to act the exact same way, but there will be a lot of similarities.
When thinking about your own behavior at a party, it's important to think of a few things: Do you need to be the center of attention at all times? Are you cool to let others have the spotlight? Are you able to have in-depth conversations with one person at a time?
ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
When an Aries is at a party, they don't stop until they drop. They dance, and if there's any kind of competition such as a drinking game, they're in on it.
Aries have so much energy they'll probably even help with the set-up and clean-up. If the party starts to get boring, they have suggestions on what to do next, like go to another party or an after-hours club.
TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
Taurus may not be the "life" of the party, but their presence is definitely felt. They're usually decked out and when they enter the party, all eyes will be on them. They bring something for the hosts like flowers or a good bottle of wine.
Tauruseans prefer parties where the food and beverages are top quality and the room is beautifully decorated. They're much more to having a party at a fancy restaurant than a dorm room kegger. And it's not unlike them to be at a party rearranging the flowers or adding small touches to the food.
GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Parties are Gemini's love language and they adore them. They make great hosts and even better guests. Geminis are fantastic conversationalists and can keep an entire room riveted to them when telling a story.
They put other people at ease with their friendly attitude and sense of humor. Geminis work the room and talk to everyone. One thing they would never do is be in a conversation with someone and then leave mid-sentence to go talk to someone else.
CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers like smaller gatherings at their house rather than huge parties. They like making people feel comfortable and at ease in their home, and they're going to do what they can for their guests to have a good time.
As a guest, they tend to very personal conversations with one or two people in the kitchen, and really bond with them. It's not unlike them to leave a party with a few new friends. If the host needs someone to heat up more appetizers or go get ice, Cancer is the one who volunteers.
LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Parties are everything for Leos and they enjoy every aspect of them — from glamming up beforehand to being the center of attention at the party, and having such a great time they'll remember the party for a long time.
Leo will make a big deal about any gifts they brought, and make sure they do something that puts the focus on them. Leos will dance, sing loudly, tell jokes, and play all the games.
VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo is your party wingman. They're there to make sure people are dancing, meeting new people, and not making a huge mess.
They aren't going to let their friends do something they might regret, and if that means taking the keys or phone away from you, that's what they're going to do. Virgos will make sure your playlist isn't too old-school and that everyone has exactly what they need.
LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras love a good party. As long as everyone else is having fun, Libra will have a great time, but if they're not, they become concerned. They do whatever it takes to remove the bad vibes or negativity that's causing the party to take a nose-dive. It doesn't matter if it's not their party.
It's not unlikely that a Libra may have more than one event, and just when it seems they are having an incredible time, they'll leave to go to another party.
SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
Scorpios have their social moments, but if they're not feeling it, they sit back and observe other people. Scorpios would rather be at home with their partner and having a party for two.
It's not that they're antisocial, it's just that a ton of people partying can be exhausting. As much as Scorpio may like people, there are times when they like their own company better.
SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarians loves every kind of party. It could be an underground rave, a networking event, or a wedding — but Sagittarius is there. They're going to enjoy every moment of the party and try everything, including that strange alcohol from Bulgaria or the host's deviled eggs.
Sagittarians are great to have at a party because they will get people off the couch and participating. Their energy seems to be endless and they're always into the idea of keeping the party going.
CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Parties can be awkward for Capricorns, but they know they need to accept invitations and go to more of them. They will make an effort to go to a party and they'll have an okay time.
If they do something that makes them a little less inhibited and allows them to express their wild side, they'll have an even better time. If not, Capricorn will talk to a few people, have a drink, maybe a bite to eat, and then say goodbye after an hour or so.
AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians love all different kinds of people — the more unique the person, the better, and they enjoy parties. However, Aquarians also love to be alone, so it's hard to predict what they will do at a party.
They might get into a deep conversation about spirituality or they might get fussy about the music and try to get the DJ to play their favorites. Sometimes an Aquarius will just go off on their own and stare at their phone all night.
PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are going to overindulge at a party. If they left the comfort of their bed, they're going to make it worth it. If they're single, they might kiss someone on the dance floor; if they're not, they may get romantic with their partner.
Parties for Pisces are about having fun, losing inhibitions, and living life. They take everything in at a party, and sometimes even make notes so they can be used as inspiration at another time.
