'This Is Us' Star Susan Kelechi Watson Got Engaged To Jaime Lincoln Smith — Get To Know Him!

Brown is married to the actress Ryan Michelle Bathe, and Susan Kelechi Watson just got engaged, herself! So who is Jaime Lincoln Smith, the man who stole our Beth's heart?

1. She announced the engagement on Instagram.
According to Entertainment Tonight Canada, Susan Kelechi Watson announced that she was engaged to Jaime Lincoln Smith on Instagram. In the post, she had a picture of her ring on her finger, and the caption featured a poem she'd written to commemorate the occasion. And, yes, she received nothing but love from her fellow This is Us cast members, including Mandy Moore (who plays Rebecca Pearson) and Melanie Liburd (who plays Zoe, Beth's cousin).
2. Jaime Lincoln Smith is an actor, too.
"Smith, an actor known for his work on Law & Order and the Grand Theft Auto video game franchise, appears to have blessed Watson with an estimated 3-carat oval sapphire ring, set on a diamond-encrusted band. “Depending on the quality and specific characteristics of the center gemstone, we estimate the cost of the ring at approximately $10,000 to $20,000,” jewels expert Kathryn Money said," according to The Root.
3. Their engagement happened a little while ago!
Us Weekly caught up with Mandy Moore during New York Fashion Week, and she admitted that she and the rest of the cast knew about Susan Kelechi Watson's engagement to Jaime Lincoln Smith for a while, but they didn't share it with everyone until a few days ago.
4. Jaime Lincoln Smith and Susan Kelechi Watson have been dating for five years.
CNN reports that the duo has been together for nearly five years before their engagement. Little is known about who either dated before they got together.
5. They're both Jamaican-American!
Susan Kelechi Watson was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Jamaican parents. Her middle name is an Igbo word meaning "thank God." Jaime Lincoln Smith, like his new fiancé, also has Jamaican parents. However, it's unclear as to where he was born, though it was definitely in the United States.
6. And the blog-osphere couldn't be happier for them.
