5 Zodiac Signs Who Are Serial Monogamists

getty A serial monogamist is someone who prefers being in a relationship with one person rather than dating several people. Serial monogamists tend to commit to that one person, and if the relationship doesn’t work out, they move to the next person.
People who partake in serial monogamy enjoy being in relationships because they tend not to love being single. And with astrology, there are definite personality traits serial monogamists have — loyalty, thoughtfulness, affection, kindness — so it makes sense that some zodiac signs tend to be serial monogamists.
If you’re a serial monogamist and your potential new partner is a serial dater, it may be challenging to have the type of relationship you both want. You can’t expect them to change for you nor should you change just to fit in with their idea of a partnership.
For some serial monogamists, there’s a certain urgency to find their next partner when their relationship ends, and they find themselves on their own. They just do better in a relationship and they like the foundation it gives them. They want quality relationships over multiple ones, but don't feel compelled to make a relationship work.
1. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers put their everything into their relationships and will hold on tight. They don't just blow through relationships; each one has meaning to them, and they tend to hold on to a piece of their ex in their heart, forever.
One of the ways they are serial monogamists is the way they talk about their ex a lot. This is because there probably wasn't much time between one relationship ending and the new one starting, so they didn't have enough time to process it. Although Cancers continuously carry their baggage from previous relationships, they still put most of their energy into their current one.
2. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Libras don't like to be alone, and they'd rather have a relationship than be single while they try to find a new one. Libras are great partners because they're compassionate, fair, fun, and will do whatever they can to make it work.
It's difficult for someone to say goodbye to all that, which is why Libras are often stuck in relationships that don't work for them. But anything is better than being single and having to date a bunch of randoms.
3. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Serial dating isn't Virgo's thing. They'd much rather be in a relationship where there is trust and commitment rather than take the chance on someone new.
They tend to get consumed by their new relationship right away and are "all in." Their intensity can be daunting for their partner, but once they see that Virgo is sincere, they get used to it. They want to give their whole heart and know that's what they'll get in return. They are much more emotional than people think.
4. TAURUS (April 20 - May 20)
It takes a long time for Taurus to get to the point where they trust someone enough to be in a relationship with them or even date them, so they're not going to go into anything lightly or with the intention of breaking up so they can find somebody better. Taurus values the three Cs: comfort, caring, and communication.
Those things aren't instant, though. They take time, or they won't be of any value.
5. CAPRICORN (December 22 - January 19)
Capricorns are also cautious when it comes to love. They're not going to be impulsive or get in a bunch of relationships or dating situations that are doomed to fail. They want stability, trust, and a relationship that's going to go the distance.
Capricorns aren't the kind of people who have a ton of stories about random hookups or dates from hell, or if they do they're going to keep them to themselves. They want to build a relationship that lasts, and that's not going to happen if they're serial dating.
