Who Is Tiona Fernan? New Details About Soulja Boy's Girlfriend — And Those Blac Chyna Rumors
Rapper Soulja Boy announced his girlfriend after rumors he was hooking up with Blac Chyna.
Rapper Soulja Boy is back-peddling after making some remarks on social media that hinted he was cheating on his girlfriend, Tiona Fernan. The drama began when Soulja spent Valentine's Day with 30-year-old Blac Chyna apparently holding hands at Saks Fifth Ave in Beverly Hills. According to TMZ, Soulja and Chyna's relationship began with them chatting through Instagram DMs, concocting a plan to anger Chyna’s ex Tyga by pretending they were dating. Soulja Boy and Tyga also have something in common; they have had serious beef over who had the bigger comeback.
The two then met up at singer Sean Kingston’s penthouse in Los Angeles last week, where things got “heated — in a good way.” They have reportedly spent a lot of time together, leading some to speculate that were now an item. Those rumors only heightened when they attended the KidSuper Grammys after party on Sunday. Soulja shared pictures of both of them dancing together — with his girlfriend nowhere in sight.
But Soulja Boy took to social media to let the world know that the fling between him and Rob Kardashian’s baby momma was nothing more than a fling, if that even. The rapper wrote in a crude tweet, that has since been deleted, that he was only interested in a hook-up from Chyna.
“What I look like dating Blac Chyna lmao I’m in a relationship with Tiona Fernan stop playing with me lol,” he wrote in a tweet that has since been deleted. That tweet was followed by a number of retweets of stories about Soulja declaring his love for Fernan on Instagram earlier in the week. The rapper tried to blame the inappropriate tweets on Chyna and that she had hacked his phone after he left it at her place.
“Blac Chyna hacked my phone. Smh I didn’t tweet that last tweet apology. I left my phone at her house smh,” he wrote in the tweet, which has also since been deleted but not before someone could take a screenshot. He also wrote: “My apologies to Blac Chyna and my fans for the previous tweet. Blac Chyna and I have a mutual friendship nothing more nothing less.”
The previous tweet was a crude comment he made about Chyna, which he repeated and deleted after he allegedly regained control of his account. Since deleting the Chyna-related tweets, the “Crank That” rapper professed his love for girlfriend Tiona Fernan on Instagram.
"I love you @xttiona!" the 28-year-old Grammy nomineegushed too the stunning model laying on a couch in lingerie. "My heart." The curvy Fashion Nova brand ambassador replied: "Love you more babe!" Soulja Boy had previously tweeted on Monday: “Ain't too many solid b----es out here so when you get one you better hold onto her."
Meanwhile, Blac Chyna has been romantically linked to rapper Kid Buu.
