Demi Burnett exploded onto this season of The Bachelor and quickly established herself as one of the biggest personalities of the franchise. On Monday night’s new episode of The Bachelor, Demi might take virgin-Colton Underwood beyond his comfort zone — if you know what I mean. This woman is on a mission and nobody is going to stand between her and Colton.
So who is Demi Burnett? Here are 5 things we know about her.
1. She’s from rural Texas.
The 23-year-old blonde is from Dallas, Texas, but she originally hails from a town called Red Oak. There, she enjoys doing outdoorsy things like fishing and riding an ATV. She also likes to get rough and tough; as described in her bio. She loves watching WWE, and can also drive a stick shift.
Burnett can also enjoy a good beer, according to her Instagram. Surprisingly, she doesn’t appear to be a country music fan; instead, she admits she a fan of Lil Wayne, Drake, and Ariana Grande.
2. She’s feisty.
This country gal is all personality. Coming from Texas, it’s no wonder that she’s bold and sassy! From the moment she stepped out of the limo, she started ruffling feathers with the other ladies vying for Colton Underwood’s attention. Behind her nature-loving appearance is a woman who is ready for the competition — even if her boldness shocks the other girls in the mansion.
While some may call her the villain of the season, Chris Harrison said she's a contestant to look out for during his introduction of the Bachelor contestants on Facebook Live. "She's definitely one to watch. She comes out of the limo on fire. She is bold," Harrison said.
"She's one to keep an eye on," he added. "Things get hot and heavy on night one with her.”

3. She knows what she wants.
Colton is a virgin but that won’t stop Demi from trying to be “the one” to claim it. After Demi and Colton connected on a group date, Demi is even more determined to win him over. She had no shame in kissing Colton in front of the other women during a group date. So, how will she get her way?
According to a sneak peek of tonight’s The Bachelor, Demi plans a surprise visit to his room with her eye on the prize. In her latest Instagram post, Demi is already warning viewers that something juicy is going to happen on Monday’s episode.
“On Monday, I’m throwing hands!” she writes. "It wouldn't be a group date if someone wasn't bleeding or crying by the end of it. I've been fighting for Colton the whole time, and I guess I'm going to have to keep fighting today."
4. She’s an interior designer, maybe?
On her official ABC profile, Demi is listed as an interior designer. But is she? There doesn’t seem to be any info about her professional career in design. By looking at her Instagram or Facebook account, you’d immediately think that she is an aspiring model.
If you look through Demi’s Instagram feed, you’ll notice she likes to shop quite a bit, and pose for the camera. According to the official Bachelor bio on ABC’s website, she is an aspiring Victoria's Secret Angel, “with an entourage known as the ‘Demi Angels.'" Perhaps that’s because she has other career aspirations.
5. She's expressed interest in a career in television.
Reality Steve revealed that Demi has a profile on explore.com. On the website, it’s noted that she’s interested in being cast for commercials, films, modeling jobs and, of course, reality TV. Could Demi’s over-the-top personality all be a show?
Not long ago, US Weekly reported that Demi was hanging out with Paulie Calafiore of Big Brother fame at the beginning of January. According to the article, Demi and Paulie have been friends for months, and it’s nothing romantic. A source told Us Weekly that she was just consulting him about how she'll be perceived on The Bachelor.
"Paulie understands that he's the ultimate villain on TV right now," the insider told Us Weekly. "He knows that people see him a certain way, but ultimately, he's always there to help people if they want to chat."
6. Her mom was in prison.
In the first episode of The Bachelor, Demi dropped a shocking bomb.
She revealed that her mom, Tina Jean Jordan, was in federal prison for embezzlement. Jordan apparently served time for conspiracy to commit bank fraud. While her sentence was for 18 months at FMC Carswell prison in Texas, she ended up spending her last six months in a halfway house in San Antonio.
According to Life & Style, Jordan has a slew of other charges: violating her probation, committing grand theft, and committing forgery, to name a few. She also filed for bankruptcy in New Mexico in 2000.
Whether Demi Burnett is competing for Colton’s heart for the right reasons, or to further her acting and modeling aspirations, one thing is certain — this firecracker is piling on the charm and creating delicious drama.
