Who Is Ashley Groussman? New Details On Tom Arnold's Fourth Wife Who He's Divorcing

Over the years, there have been plenty of high-profile splits and divorces, including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Johnny Depp and Amber Heard. And another one bites the dust with Tom Arnold and Ashley Groussman.
You know Tom Arnold from the big (and small) screen, with his most notable role alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in True Lies, and later, becoming a co-anchor on the Fox Sports Network. But just last month, Arnold announced that he had filed for divorce from Groussman, citing irreconcilable differences. He also revealed that they had split up on January 22nd.
“For the last couple years we grew apart and have been moving in different directions, which is why at this time we have decided to end our marriage. I told Ashley that it’s her life, we had great years together, and there doesn’t have to be a reason or a bad guy to move on. Go live your life, you owe me nothing,” Arnold said in a statement.
But who is Ashley Groussman and what do we know about her life with her soon-to-be ex-husband? Here are five details about Tom Arnold’s wife, their divorce, and what their relationship was like.
1. They were married for nine years.
Over Thanksgiving in 2009, the couple tied the knot in Maui, in front of 75 guests. Dax Shepard served as Arnold’s best man.
2. She was his fourth wife.
Though Arnold is known for his four-year marriage to Roseanne Barr from 1990 to 1994, he was married to Julie Lynn Champnella from 1995 to 1999, and Shelby Roos from 2002 to 2008.
3. They have two kids together.
The couple welcomed son Jax in 2013, and daughter Quinn in 2015. They also had four dogs.
4. The divorce was “a long time coming.”
In an interview with Us Weekly, Arnold revealed that Groussman had moved out of their shared home recently:
“It’s a long time coming and we have been together for almost 11 years. I have many good years. I have my children because my wife. For the last couple years, it’s been very unusual in the house. But my kids and I have a whole life, a wonderful life. I’ve been telling my wife, ‘It’s OK. Just do whatever you gotta do.’ So, she moved out. Sometimes in our society people put things on (especially) women, they can feel guilty. And I kept saying, ‘Hey, listen... You have done everything. We’ve been together. You’ve been amazing. There doesn’t have to be a reason. There doesn’t have to be a bad guy.’”
5. He’s seeking joint custody.
The exes are currently trying to come to an agreement on custody of their children, as well as their finances. Documents in the filings state that the court will determine how they split up their physical property and monetary assets.
In Arnold’s statement, he also touched on how much his children mean to both he and Groussman: “We’re both crazy about these kids. We have two amazing children that we love very much, and while she has moved out we will be working together to co-parent. My kids are my entire life and their happiness is all I care about.”
