6 Zodiac Signs Who Spend Way Too Much Money
Their money's gone before they know it.
Do you spend too much money? You may be spending money in an irresponsible way or you may have very good reasons for spending your money, but it doesn't matter because it’s always gone before you know it.
That means you might be one of the zodiac signs who overspend. Luckily, astrology can help us figure out who they are. While some zodiac signs save almost every penny they make and use a number of different methods to hang on to their money, there are others who, no matter how hard they try to change, even with the help of a horoscope, they immediately spend everything.
Overspending doesn't always mean buying things for yourself and your loved ones; you can overspend by giving too much to charity. It’s a generous gesture to make a donation or contribution, but not when it leaves you with a hurting bank balance.
People who spend too much money unwisely are called spendthrifts, which is an odd word choice since the word thrift is the second part of the word. When you spend too much money, even when you have a lot of money, the last thing that you’re doing is being thrifty or economical.
There are big spenders who do things in a major way like picking up the tab for an entire bar full of people or giving lavish gifts. It may not be their intention to buy people’s affection by spending huge amounts of cash on them, but that can be the result.
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
Aries are impulsive about everything and that includes spending. If they want something now, they'll get it. They tend not to think things through as thoroughly as they might.
If they think about buying something for too long, it will lose its appeal, so they dare not chance it. Things like budgets, financial plans, and self-imposed allowances are a drag. It's YOLO for them and that includes unlimited spending.
2. LEO (July 23 - August 22)
Leos love shopping and they love buying people presents. It doesn't matter if it's nowhere near someone's birthday or holiday; if Leo sees the perfect gift, they're not going to wait and will buy it immediately.
Sometimes that gift-giving spirit extends to their own selves. They don't like to deny themselves, so they live a lavish and luxurious lifestyle. It's a good thing that they're very good at acquiring wealth because their spending habits are often out of control.
3. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Pisces are a soft touch — if someone asks to borrow money from them, even if Pisces knows from experience they'll never pay it back, they will lend them money. If someone has a hard luck story or just needs Pisces to float them a loan until they get on their feet, they will come through.
If someone asks Pisces to invest in a pyramid scheme or their company, they will feel guilted into investing. They're just too kind and naive.
4. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Money isn't on the top of Sagittarius' list of concerns. They use it until it runs out and then they'll get some more. They spend lavishly on things like airplane tickets, hotels, and fancy meals.
The problem is that they don't keep track of their spending and sometimes need to find ways to replenish their funds fast or suffer the consequences. Sagittarius aren't into possessions as much as they're into experiences, and much of the time their travel expenses aren't on the cheap side.
5. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Unless Gemini has a very important reason to save, they're going to spend way too much money. They also fall prey to impulse buys, are very generous in giving to charities, and they like to have beautiful things and have fun.
Geminis like to enjoy all the finer trappings of life, and if they cost money, Gemini's happiness is worth it. However, after a spending spree, Gemini's more responsible side will probably have regrets and will want to return some items.
6. AQUARIUS (January 20 - February 18)
Aquarians love to spend money on new electronic items, new businesses, and donating to environmental and humanitarian causes. Aquarians are the type of people who spend too much money investing in start-ups, new inventions, and products.
Sometimes these investments pay off, but other times, it's just a monetary loss. Still, it makes them happy thinking that they're an investor in something that could go big.
