5 Playful Zodiac Signs Who Don't Take Things Too Seriously

getty Adulting can be challenging. There are so many responsibilities and things we have to do — get a job, pay our bills, and take care of ourselves and the people we care about. As adults, it’s easy to get so caught up in the “must-dos” that we end up being much too serious about everything.
But for the playful zodiac signs, they always find time to tap into their childlike ways. They'll skip the serious horoscope and go for anything that will allow them to express joy or have fun. And luckily, astrology can provide some insight on who these signs are.
When we grow up, it isn’t that we lose the childlike or playful parts of our personalities, it’s that we just bury and forget about them. But it’s wonderful to be able to access that part of us that likes to play, have fun, and sees things with a gentle humor.
Playful people are in touch with their inner child, and they’re able to express joy in much the same way as a child: with wonder and delight.
There are ways of becoming more playful and childlike: dance around your living room without caring if anybody sees you, sing at the top of your lungs, spend time with children and see the world through their eyes, play with your animals, or watch all the silly YouTube videos you can. When you’re laughing just for the sake of laughing, you’ll feel free.
Make games out of the things you have to do and make them fun again. No one likes bumper to bumper traffic, but what if you make it a visual scavenger hunt and give yourself points for each thing you see on your imaginary list, or make up poems from personalized license plates? Be creative. When you’re playful, you’ll look at life as less of a chore to get through, and more like an opportunity to feel joy.
1. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
For a Gemini, not every social gathering has to be a big event. They like getting together with their friends and family and play cards, make vision boards, do fun crafts like festive centerpieces, and sometimes to do a fun physical activity like skating or pickleball.
Geminis like to do activities with people where they can let down their hair and just be a kid again. They can do the networking and the fancy business dinners, but every now and then they need to let their playful side out and have some kid-like fun.
2. CANCER (June 21 - July 22)
Cancers have a reputation of being serious and sensitive, but they also have a playful side to them. If you ever go to a concert with a Cancer, you'll see them get so into the music that they lose all their inhibitions and will be dancing in the aisles.
It's also not unlikely for a Cancer to have some toys — not just the latest electronic gadgets, but toys like fidget spinners, collectible toys from their childhood, or even toys to be on hand for kids. Cancers aren't too stuffy or grown-up to play video games or with Super Soaker water guns.
3. SAGITTARIUS (November 22 - December 21)
Sagittarius' natural spontaneity makes them playful. They'll take a walk or a long weekend without any plans or set route. They're open to wherever the road takes them. They like feeling free and have an optimistic attitude.
They're able to tap into their inner child and they have a wonder at the things most of us miss. They're also funny, but they don't use their humor to hurt people. Sagittarius are lighthearted and fun.
4. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
While not all Pisces are artists, they all have a huge capacity for creativity. When they're in the middle of a creative project, they tend to go to a place of wonder and joy, and they just let themselves express whatever they need to.
Pisces do art often times without any thought of being successful at it or impressing other people. They do art for themselves and to have fun. They try different techniques and sometimes they just have fun playing with the paint, taking random pictures, or playing an instrument badly. It's the process that's important for Pisces, not the result.
5. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
There are times when Aries individuals just want to have fun. They want to dance, sing, and make people laugh. They love to try new things, even when other people tell them it's not the right thing for them to do.
Aries tend to enjoy spending time with their pets because they feel they can be themselves with their animals and they won't be judged. Aries individuals can be serious when they have to be, but they have a very significant playful side to them.
