getty Ever meet one of those people who, no matter what you say — even if you're talking about Jupiter — somehow relates it back to themselves and makes it personal? Yep, that's what we call narcissism.
And while many, many of us have narcissistic traits, the true narcissists are the ones who actually believe that everything there is, is an extension of themselves. This means everything is about them. And for the zodiac signs who take everything personally, it's not a walk in the park.
When they're studying astrology or even checking their horoscope, it really gets in the way. And though they may seek advice for how to not take things personally, they still want to shout. But alas, their screams are in vain, as the narcissist knows better: It's always about them, no matter what.
If you make the mistake of voicing an opinion, such as, "I don't really like that TV show," the narcissist will hear your words, and if they do like that TV show, they will take it personally as an insult. So, of all the zodiac signs, here are the top 6 that take every single thing personally, much to our insistence that it's not all about them!
1. ARIES (March 21 - April 19)
I'm sorry, I've just about got Aries as the number one spot in all of my negative reports, but holy toledo, this bunch takes everything personally. If you say, "I hate winter!" they will respond to you with, "Oh, I suppose you hate me too." It's all about them, no matter what the subject.
2. PISCES (February 19 - March 20)
Egads, the sensitive weepy Pisces wouldn't dream of missing an opportunity to feel bad about themselves and grab any chance to get that thrill. Example: You eat a slice of pizza with your Pisces friend. You say, "This sucks. This is the worst pizza I've ever had!"
They will say, "Great. I was going to make pizza for you on the weekend. Well, that ruins that idea." One thing doesn't have to have anything to do with another, when Pisces decides it's all about them.
3. GEMINI (May 21 - June 20)
Gemini is the sign of the snob. No sign is as snobby as this one, and it's very easy to rub them the wrong way.
How this pertains to being a sign that takes everything the wrong way is in the idea that if you insult something that Gemini finds valuable, Gemini assumes you are insulting their taste and style, and well... they'll hate you for it.
4. LIBRA (September 23 - October 22)
Oddly enough, Libra is right up there with the assumption that the world runs because they are in it. Libra can't just leave it alone. If you don't like their favorite band, or if you make the fatal mistake of liking something they DON'T like, not only do they take it mega-personally, BUT they will bulldoze over your soul to make you feel bad for disagreeing with them.
They take it all way too seriously. It's a Libra world.
5. VIRGO (August 23 - September 22)
Virgo goes out of their way to take things personally. In fact, there is no world outside of their own and should you be foolish enough to introduce an unknown concept into a Virgo's life, they will admonish you for assuming they don't already know about it.
Virgo doesn't care to learn; they find it insulting and beneath them, so if you try to teach them something, they don't appreciate that you've assumed they don't know it already.
6. SCORPIO (October 23 - November 21)
In Scorpio's mind, there are no others, so everything is personal. Not only that, defending their own honor is what it's all about with them. That means be prepared to fight to the death when voicing an opinion that might possibly suggest that Scorpio could be... wrong. Heads will roll.
