A new sex survey has been released announcing what men and women want in bed and find most attractive in a sexual partner, leading to their ideal sex life in relationships, and they say size doesn’t matter — NOT!

In order to attain the results of their research, published under the title "Kinky Couples & Modern Relationships," Australian diamond company Forktip conducted a survey of 5,000 people who self-identified as being “in a relationship.”

“We wanted to understand how relationships and ‘mating rituals’ are evolving,” said the researchers. “And we threw in some hairy questions just for fun too. People loved answering this survey and we had 5,000 respondents in next to no time.”

Here's a look at some of the most intriguing information they gathered about what makes for a good sex life according to men and women in modern relationships.

1. Physical features

Participants were asked to select the "sexual assets" they find most attractive in a partner.

The study found that women’s preferred physical feature on a man is a "large penis", followed by an “athletic and fit” body, and then by his being “tall” — which explains why other studies have shown that most men under 5'9" - 5'10"-ish lie about their height on dating sites.

Men said their first preference is a woman with a “healthy body figure”, followed by women who have a “big booty”, and then by those endowed with “firm breasts.”

2. The kink factor

One of the “hairy” questions referenced above was, “Would you participate in an orgy with your current partner?”

Out of the responses, the majority (56 percent) said "no way," while 24.1 percent said it "would take a few drinks," and 19.9 percent said maybe with the disclaimer, “Only if the other couples were hot."

If you’ve ever been to an orgy, you know that all three answers are correct.

3. The numbers game

Next, participants were asked, “Do you lie to your current partner about your number of ex’s?"

No surprises here! While 50 percent of men said “yes” and 49.7 percent said “no,” the majority of women — at a whopping 79.2 percent! — said “yes,” with only 20 percent saying “no.”

Here’s a situation where the majority of women on this planet are forced to lower the number of exes they say they’ve been with for fear that otherwise they’ll be judged and labeled as a slut, while a male-directed version of that word simply doesn’t exist for even the most promiscuous of men.

4. Pet Peeves

And now for the juicy stuff ...

The survey asked men to name things they don't like about their female partners.

“Too loose,” was the number one answer, followed by "makes too much noise,” which is an interesting answer, since men usually say they like it when women make moaning and groaning sounds. The third most popular answer was “breasts too small”, with a “lack of booty” bringing up the rear.

And what is it that women don’t like about their male partners?

It turns out that women hate it when men make “weird noises.” We’re not sure exactly what that means, but while women enjoy sexy moans, maybe it's the farting and grunting they are talking about. “Penis too small” is was the second biggest complaint, followed by “ejaculates too quick” and “changes position too frequently,” both of which can keep a woman from having an orgasm just as she was about to to have one.

We like surveys like this that keep it real.

Even if some of these answers are hard to hear, the act of discussing them can lead to real solutions ... and really hot sex.
