Each different type of flower has its own meaning, and it's believed that these flower meanings are associated with astrology as they express characteristics and qualities of the 12 different zodiac signs.

Aries flower (March 21 - April 19): Lotus

The meaning of the lotus flower differs from culture to culture, but it's often seen as a symbol of rebirth, love, compassion, beauty, perseverance, spirituality, overcoming obstacles, and blossoming.
Sounds a lot like Aries.
Taurus flower (April 20 - May 20): Poppy

Poppies are vibrant, strong, beautiful, resilient, and can weather any storm just like the Taurus.
Gemini flower (May 21 - June 20): Lavender

Just like Gemini, there's very little lavender can't do. Besides being beautiful and fragrant, when the flower is turned into an essential oil, it has a calming effect, can be used as a sleep aid, reduces swelling, helps with all kinds of skin issues, and alleviates nausea or motion sickness.
It's good to have a little lavender and a Gemini in your life.

Delphinium flowers symbolize an open heart, loving attachment, and a feeling of lightness and happiness. Like Cancer, it's emotional and lovely.

The plumbago flower is very precise, controlled, and pretty, just like a Virgo. Neither the plumbago nor a Virgo is completely in your face and showy, but over time their beauty and specialness are revealed.

Chrysanthemums have many layers to them and aren't subdued in their appearance, much like Scorpio.
Scorpios prize honesty and clarity in all things, and white chrysanthemums are the symbols of honesty.
Scorpios are also well-known for their passions and connections with other people. Not surprisingly, red chrysanthemums symbolize the invitation to form a new relationship.
