What The Type Of Flower He Gets You Says About Your Relationship
Find out...
You never have to have a reason to go out and buy your partner flowers. But what does it mean when he buys you flowers on purpose?
It really means that he cares for you, he was thinking about you, he wanted to do something nice for you, and he wanted to surprise you.
Like for me, my boyfriend surprises me with flowers when he knows I am stressed and struggling. Those flowers will sit on my desk, brightening up the room, and I smile every time I see them because I know he took the time to go out, during a pandemic, and pick out flowers just to make me smile.
It's the little things that mean the most in a relationship, and flowers are a great romantic gesture that has been around since the dawn of time.
If your man does buy you flowers, the flowers he chooses can say a lot about your relationship. They can indicate how serious you're relationship is and it will tell you where your relationship stands.
And hey, if you are single, there is no reason you cannot go out and buy yourself some flowers as well.
Find out what it means when he buys you flowers? Every single type, explained:
1. Carnations
Carnations are one of the cheapest flowers, but they come in a ton of colors. So either your guy knew your favorite color was hot pink and decided to get a flower in your favorite color (how sweet!), or he ran into the flower shop and grabbed the cheapest flower without putting any thought into it.
If he did the latter, don't get too upset; maybe he just needs a little coaching or a hint for next time.
2. Tulips
Tulips are the perfect gift for any special moment in a relationship, and they're more unique than roses.
They come in a variety of colors, and if your guy gets you a multi-colored tulip bouquet, he obviously put a lot of thought into the gift.
3. Peonies
Peonies are so classy and pristine. They're also an omen for good fortune, and they're known as the flower of riches and honor.
If your guy picks up some peonies, then you may just have good relationship luck coming your way. And chances are, he likes your classy style.
4. Daisies
If I were a guy, I would get a girl daisies if the relationship was new.
Daisies are fun, pretty flowers that don't mean anything too serious. Daisies represent innocence, so it's the perfect flower for the honeymoon stage of a relationship when you haven't had any real fights or issues yet.
5. Red roses
On the total opposite end of the spectrum, we have red roses, which you shouldn't get for someone you aren't serious about. Many guys may be afraid to get girls roses too early in the relationship.
So if he ends up buying them for you, either you have something very special or he's completely clueless about what flowers mean.
