About Lori Weisman
Lori Weisman has been in the healthcare profession for over 35 years.
Initially trained as a Speech Pathologist, Lori developed a specialization in identifying the unique challenges which come with brain injury.
She has extensive experience in diagnosing, assessing and treating individuals and couples.
Lori has held positions as Clinical Director of mTBI facilities located in both California and Utah.
She developed industry-wide influence working with insurance companies to recognize and understand the need and benefit of providing in-state facilities. This lead to the opening of the first mTBI center in Utah.
She regularly works with other psychotherapists to assist them in the treatment and care of this growing population. Lori consults with attorneys and serves as an expert witness in cases involving a brain injury.
As a board member of the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington (BIAWA) she was asked to provide ongoing community education in Washington State to couples with brain injury. She has shared her expertise at conferences on Couple’s Therapy and Brain Injury.
With her unique background, Lori is a leader in the field of psychotherapy in relation to brain injury. In private practice for 25 years, she brings her expertise to psychotherapists and couples and who are learning to live with this life-changing event.
