About Laila Daniel
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in Fayetteville, NC- home to Ft Bragg. My passion has been working with military couples and families. I have been an educator for over 15 years, specializing in helping individuals adjust to military life and marriage. Many couples get overwhelmed balancing career and family responsibilities yet yearn to make their relationship better. I completed Level 3 Practicum Training In Gottman Method Couples Therapy and use it as a blueprint to help couples transform their relationship. I also offer small groups as a Gottman Seven Principals Leader and Gottman Bringing Baby Home Program Educator.
Life is not easy. Understanding ourselves is confusing. Empathizing with others can feel almost impossible at times. Despite this, relationships with God, ourselves, and each other require us to show up. Otherwise, we have consequences. It’s painful so we’re destined to be hurt and disappointed. The way we process this correlates to how meaningful life becomes to each of us as we grow. Stagnation is a passive choice. I am fortunate in that I get to help others create beauty from chaos. My life is enriched teaching others to build intimacy, lessen suffering, heal and become expert lovers.
