About Jill Vermeire
Jill Vermeire, MFT knew from an early age that she had a passion for helping others. She has always valued the importance of balancing work, love, and play. Bringing knowledge, compassion, and a sense of humor, she works with women experiencing any kind of relationship questions and guides them to the answers.
After graduating from Arizona State University she pursued various careers including hospitality and TV production, until she was ready to take the leap to pursue her true passion. She completed her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology at Pepperdine University, received her license as a Marriage and Family Therapist, and in 2000 began her private practice in Los Angeles, specializing in sex, trauma, and addictions.
Time and again clients come to her with questions, heartache, or confusion about relationships (or the lack of). In 2011 Jill decided to combine her love for travel and helping others by creating exotic destination retreats for women who need to “press the pause button” and get clarity.
Jill Vermeire has become recognized in the mental health community as an authority on these subjects and has appeared alongside Dr. Drew Pinksy in VH1′s “Sex Rehab” which she later discussed on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” in November 2009. Other media appearances include “Extra,” “Issues with Jane Velasquez” on HLN, NBC News, the TV Guide Network, and KROQ’s “Loveline.”
