Ellen Toronto is a clinical psychologist in private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan since 1980. She earned her bachelor's in psychology from Miami University in Ohio. She held a National Science Foundation Fellowship from 1967-1970 and completed a doctorate from the University of Michigan. She then completed a clinical internship at the Lafayette Clinic in Detroit. Dr. Toronto is a member of the American Psychological Association and a founding member and past president of the Michigan Psychoanalytical Council.
Throughout a diverse career, she has acted as a psychotherapist, parent coordinator, divorce mediator, and custody evaluator.
