About Coach Juli Shulem
You may feel that no one understands you or ‘gets you.’ But I do. That constant ‘busy, but unproductive’ feeling you experience, is not unique to you. If you procrastinate up to the last minute to get something accomplished, are highly distracted, and lose focus often, then you may be among the thousands who struggle with ADHD. From impulsive and being highly distractible, to being disorganized and poorly managing time; your days may be a constant struggle.
“Life just happens at me” was how one woman described how she was feeling. If you feel like your life is just whizzing around you and the number of thoughts and ideas that are whirling around in your mind is staggering, you have landed in the right place.
You may be a parent who just learned that your child has ADHD, and maybe a few other co-existing conditions, and feel that you have no idea what to do, where to get guidance, and what your child’s future holds. I’ve been there too – and actually it is due to that experience that propelled me to become the ADHD Coach I am today.
Perhaps you are an adult who recently learned that the struggles you have had all your life are due to ADHD, yet you just got a diagnosis and learned that this is what you have been dealing with all this time. Or maybe you are a college student and are finding that the differences of being on your own has set off your ADHD or lack of organizing skills in a way you hadn’t dealt with before and you are stressed out.
I had the prior background and vast experience of being a Professional Organizer over two decades prior to becoming a Productivity Coach, which has been a tremendous asset to my clients. I can coach around the efficiency and productivity aspect of life, all with taking the ADHD brain functioning aspects into account.
True Story:
A business owner called me to inquire about my work and he started to explain his situation and went on for a good fifteen minutes before ‘coming up for air,’ “Oh my gosh, I am so sorry,” he started to explain, “I have gone off on so many tangents, you must be completely confused by now!” To his great relief and joy I replied, “Sir, I’m still following you just fine - continue.”
As a Professional Certified Coach, I’m trained to listen to what you are saying and at the same time, to hear what you may not be saying. My hope is to help you assess where you are, determine where you want to go, and help you create the path to get there. All the while, holding the space, and providing the accountability to help you achieve your intentions. You can learn about my affiliations, accomplishments, and background by going to my website. Suffice it to say, with over 30 years of experience, nothing scares me.
