About Bobbi Anderson
Bobbi’s holistic approach to her life’s journey helped her to take a dramatic turn away from the chaotic and stressful jobs she once held in the corporate world. She recognized how this lifestyle choice had wreaked havoc on her personal life and how much pain it caused her. This led to her decision to attend the Cortiva Institute – Massage Therapy Schools (Chicago) where, in 2007, she graduated with her certificate in Massage Therapy. After attaining her Illinois licensure she began her healing journey in body work.
As Bobbi became aware of how much more she could offer her clients through other modalities, in 2008 she decided to get trained as a hypnotist and attended the Bennett/Stellar University in Sedona, Arizona. The eighteen days she spent there were both amazing and healing on many levels. Her training certainly proved to be a true soul-searching experience. During her sojourn there, she studied and received certificates in Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP) and Hypnosis. Bobbi also achieved the level of Reiki Master and received her first attunement at the edge of one of the many energy vortexes located in Sedona.
Later, Bobbi attended the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC) to gather even more resources so she could more effectively guide her professional and private clients in achieving their goals. Then, in October 2011, she immersed herself in the Energy Leadership Intensive Program and earned her Mastery Level in Coaching.
Bobbi is currently studying CranioSacral Therapy (CST) and SomatoEmotional Release through the Upledger Institute International. And to get a better understanding of how we humans think, Bobbi also attends workshops hosted by the Institute for Brain Potential, including programs titled:
• Toxic People: Living and Working with High-Conflict Individuals
• How The Brain Forms New Habits: Why Willpower Is Not Enough
• The Immune System: The Mind-Body Connection Who Gets Sick and Who Stays Well
• Coping With Adversity, Suffering, and Disease
Her professional memberships include:
• The American Massage Association (AMTA)
• The National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB)
• The National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH)
• The International Coach Federation (ICF)
As a well-being advocate who is focused on creating a stress-free life for others, Bobbi is always finding ways to continue the development and happiness of her clients and community.
