Khloe Kardashian’s Nanny Reveals How She Feels About Working With The Mom-Of-Two
Raising True and her newborn son is no easy task.
@andreza.cooper / Instagram In a world where celebrities mistreating their staff is dominating the news, the relationship between Khloe Kardashian and her trusted nanny for her four-year-old daughter True, Andreza Cooper, is a breath of fresh air.
The two appear to have a friendship that goes beyond those of most celebrities and their children’s nannies. The mom-of-two and her nanny have snapped several selfies together for their Instagram pages, gone on family trips together, and have even thrown birthday celebrations for each other.
It is safe to say that they are a dream team and the ultimate duo!
Andreza Cooper is the nanny of Kardashian’s four-year-old daughter, True, and Khloe’s newborn son.
Before working for the reality star, Cooper, a Brazilian native, began her career as a newborn care specialist after studying fashion in Portugual until 2010, when she moved to the United States.
"I went to college in Portugal and, with five years of a student visa in Portugal at the time, you had the right to citizenship, then instead of staying in Portugal, my mother said she had the opportunity, it was the last year I could get the documents from here [United States], so she was like, 'Oh, come here'. And I didn't want to," Cooper said in an interview with Papo de Mae.
"But, she said, 'Come and anything you can choose, you come get the one from here and anything you can have the opportunity to choose.'"
She worked as a babysitter while taking courses that would qualify her for the certifications to care for newborns. Cooper also began nannying and realized she had a passion for the job.
“I loved it right away. It was something that only happened sporadically when the couple went out alone, so it was very peaceful,” she said in an interview with Elas Que Lucram.
In addition to working for Kardashian, Cooper revealed that she has worked for other big Hollywood stars, including Kevin Hart and Jordana Brewster.
Khloe Kardashian and Andreza Cooper appear to be close friends and have a trusting relationship.
Kardashian not only seems to be Cooper’s most well-known client but her closest one. The two seem to have a friendly relationship, and she is clearly a trusted guardian of Kardashian’s daughter, True.
Cooper has posted several shots to her Instagram of her spending time with True, including an adorable snap of the two posing in front of a mirror ahead of True’s fourth birthday.
“Happy pre-birthday my Tete Linda! I love you forever funny gurl!!!” Cooper captioned the post.
In addition to caring for True, Cooper also keeps a close eye on her sleep schedule to ensure that the toddler is well-rested. "As we travel a lot internationally, I also monitor her sleep, because there are a lot of time zones, so, to change, I always travel with her when she is international,” Cooper said.
Cooper also spends a lot of her time with True’s mother and her client, Khloe Kardashian. The pair occasionally post their social hangouts on Instagram. In January, Cooper shared a snap of her and Kardashian on a mimosa outing.
In February, Cooper’s mother, Monica, who is also a newborn care specialist and nanny for Kardashian, posted a shot of the three sitting together at a wedding.
Kardashian has even thrown birthday parties for her two nannies. In May, Cooper posted a series of photos and videos to her Instagram stories featuring the sweet party that included pink balloons, gifts, and powdered sugar waffles.
In October 2020, Cooper posted a video of her mother’s birthday party, with Kardashian and True helping her blow out candles atop a pink birthday cake.
Cooper is big on celebrating birthdays as well. In June for Kardashian’s 38th birthday, Cooper joined the family on a family beach trip to commemorate the celebration. She posted a picture of herself, Kardashian and True paddle boarding in the clear blue water.
“It’s your birthday and I’m so happy to celebrate your life with you. You deserve just the BEST in this world, so don’t accept less than that!” Cooper captioned the post.
“My shesha!!!! My beautiful shesha!!! Thank you for everything!! You are the best!!!” Kardashian commented.
Reddit users on the subreddit thread, r/KUWTK praised Kardashian’s treatment of Cooper.
“Love how she [Kardashian] treats the nanny, seems so nice,” one user wrote. “Why do I love that Khloe actually acknowledges her nannies. The rest pretend they are 100% moms everywhere. Khloe actually acknowledges her help,” another user commented.
