20 Halloween Icons, App Covers & Home Screen Themes For A Spooky Aesthetic
Nothing can get you more into the spirit of a holiday more than your widgets to Halloween Icons.
Nothing gets you more into the spirit of a holiday more than changing your iPhone theme. Spooky season us upon us, so it's time to change your iPhone home screen by adding Halloween icons for all of your apps.
If you didn't already know, Apple iOS allows the capability to customize and rearrange the different widgets on our phones. We can do this through an app called Widgetsmith, which is free to download on iOS phones. With Widgetsmith you can customize the color, design, and picture of widgets and add larger widget icons including the clock, photo, calendar, reminder, weather, health and activity, and map widgets.
The cool thing about Widgetsmith is that you can change the icon's home screen design from its apple design to any design or picture you want. You also have three different widget size options, small, medium, and large, and you can play around with the layout as much as you like.
If you want your Instagram app to have a skeleton hand instead of the boring old logo, so be it. Or maybe you want your clock to be a spider web — sure thing.
You can even add blank widgets which aren't an app at all. Maybe it's a widget with a scary movie quote or a widget of a picture of one of your favorite Halloween creatures. You can also change the font of the text under each app, so you could potentially change the font to match the same font of your favorite scary movie or book.
If you want some help from some talented artists, you have a variety of options on the internet to chose from that only cost a few dollars or more to download.
We've gathered a list of our favorites and after the list, we provided some helpful instructions on how to download them to your home screen.
