Getty A celebrity trainer is training for a new big event: her wedding. Tracy Anderson and her boyfriend of two years Chris Aslplundh have gotten engaged over the weekend.
Anderson, who is 45, has been married before and has two kids. She is best known for developing a workout method that's popular among celebrities like Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Lopez, Tracee Ellis Ross, Alessandra Ambrosio, and Victoria Beckham, among others. She owns multiple fitness studios on both coasts and offers online training as well.

1. Tracy Anderson is a fitness guru.
Anderson started her career as a dancer but gave up ballet after a 40-lb weight gain discouraged her from pursuing her dream. She says that she felt helpless to lose the weight until she learned more about the interplay of major muscle groups from a doctor doing sports rehab research. She built on his work and developed a technique that she claims provides the perfect level of muscle work for long, lean muscles in any type of body.
2. Anderson is the personal trainer to Gwyneth Paltrow.
Anderson was already training people well before she met the goop founder. In fact, the results Paltrow saw on friends were what inspired her to meet up with Anderson in the first place. “[Paltrow] was having a hard time losing the baby weight after her second baby — she was like [to the friend], ‘What are you doing? What are you doing?’ So she heard about me," Anderson recalled in 2017. "So I went and trained her once and Gwyneth was like, ‘That was the hardest thing I’ve ever done ... I have to start filming a movie in a short amount of time; I need to get the baby weight off.’ ”
At that point, Paltrow really wanted to work intensively with Anderson but she knew that Anderson might have hesitations. “The first thing [Paltrow] said to me was, ‘I realize you have a son and you don’t live where I live. I promise you that I will make sure that he’s fine and taken care of and make sure you can still be a mom. Will you please come and do this?'“ Anderson recounted. “[Paltrow] was gracious and lovely and genuine and transparent and vulnerable and respectful.”
Paltrow has been so impressed with Anderson's methods that she has been an investor in her fitness company since 2008.
3. This will be her Anderson's marriage.
Anderson was married to basketball player Eric Anderson from 1998 until 2008 and the couple had one son together in 1998. In 2011 she married Eric Mogol and they had a daughter together in 2012. They ended up splitting in 2013.
In 2018, Anderson got engaged to Scottish banker Nick Riley but he ended up breaking it off a few months later.

If you think the name Asplundh seems familiar, it's probably because you have seen it before: on the side of a truck. The Asplundh Tree Experts company is the founder of one of the largest tree service companies in the world and their trucks with their brand name on them show up whenever major tree trimming is needed.
The company was started in 1928 when brothers Griffith, Lester and Carl Asplundh combined their skills in arboriculture, electrical engineering, and finance to begin a service pruning trees away from power lines. Since then, the company has grown enormously and how has more than 35,000 employees and thousands of equipment pieces operating.
5. Asplundh is in the family business.
Asplundh has been working at his family's company since 1997. He currently holds the title Utility Vegetation Services. His father Chris Asplundh Sr. had previously been president and then CEO.
6. The couple met in 2018 and got engaged this week.
According to reports Asplundh and Anderson met in summer 2018, some time after her engagement to Riley fell apart. A mutual friend set them up and hey hit it off. He proposed this weekend at her 45th birthday celebration in at Club Colette in Palm Beach, FL.
No word yet on when they'll be tying the knot.
