A star of many West End productions in London, Evans was cast in high-profile shows like Rent, Miss Saigon, Taboo and Avenue Q. He would take home an Evening Standard Award for his work in Small Change before he end of the decade.
Evans did not do his first film audition until he was 30 years or age. He ultimately appeared in the movie Clash Of The Titans, which led to work in Sex & Drugs & Rock Roll, Robin Hood, Blitz and Flutter.
In recent years Evans has landed major roles in films including Beauty & The Beast, The Fast And The Furious and The Girl On The Train — beyond working on the television series The Alienist. He has also found success as a recording artist, as his November 2019 release titled At Last charted well in multiple countries.

1. Who Is Luke Evans' boyfriend, Rafael Olarra?
Olarra is an artist, like Evans. He was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, later studying in Madrid, Spain before relocating to the United States.
An in-demand Art Director, Olarra has overseen art at the Faena Hotel in Miami, Florida. He has also collaborated with a wide array of directors, architects and photographers including Bah Luhrmann, Mario Testino and Catherine Martin.
2. It is not clear as to how Evans and Olarra met but they recently went Instagram official.
Evans may be a public figure, but he does not often discuss who he is dating. In turn, acknowledgment of the two dating simply came from an Instagram posting.
Those following Evans' Instagram account closely may have recognized Olarra from a previous posting. Last month, Evans had shared photos including Olarra, one of the two running together in New York City's Central Park and another of the two as part of a group on a boat in Miami.

Olarra has not been in the public eye very long, even if he is a top Art Director. In turn, research did not lead us to anyone he has previously dated; most of his Instagram postings are solo or work-related.
Evans previously dated fellow actor and singer Victor Turpin. The two appear to have started dating in 2018, although it is unclear as to when (or why) they stopped seeing one another.

Evans does not often discuss his private life in interviews, but he has never been private about being gay. In a 2002 interview he said, “In my life in London I never tried to hide. It’s not a big issue, and it’s never going to be a big issue for me.”

Prior to the group photo of Evans and Olarra on a boat in Miami, the two had interacted on social media. A December 12, 2019 posting by Olarra showed the two in Budapest, Hungary and included the comment "TBT to a special weekend in Budapest."
Olarra could not be located on Twitter or Facebook. A similarly-named "Rafa Olarra" — a sports commentator who also has hotel ties — has over 100,000 followers on Twitter.
However, Olarra's work with the aforementioned Faena Hotel in Miami can be viewed on hotel-related social media accounts, as linked from its website.
6. Evans and Olarra both keep busy with upcoming projects.
Olarra has a LinkedIn account which not only mentions his employment with the "Faena Group" but also with his own company. However, he does not appear to have his old IMDb page, even if he is closely tied to high-profile art projects.
Evans currently has three projects in various phases of production, per IMDb. He is slated to be in multiple episodes of The Angel Of Darkness as John Moore, the television mini-series The Pembrokeshire Murders and the film Dreamland.
It is unclear if Evans has a followup album to At Last in the works, but he currently has multiple concerts in England scheduled for April 2020.
