Now that The Masked Singer is well underway, the costumes that have yet to be revealed are in the double digits. We now know that the Robot is Lil Wayne, but there are a lot of masks that are still a total mystery to us, including the Elephant.
So who is the Elephant on The Masked Singer? Here's what we know.
1. The Elephant costume is giving off Transformers vibes.
Instead of being like a traditional elephant we'd see at the zoo, the Elephant on The Masked Singer has a pretty unique twist. Even though between the ears and the tusks, it's clear what animal this costume is mean to represent, this version of an elephant looks a bit more futuristic, and it's possible that the black and orange color scheme could mean something about the celebrity wearing the costume, too.
2. The Elephant's time to shine is coming soon.
While the Elephant didn't perform on the season premiere (and still won't be taking the stage quite yet), we'll get to hear their singing chops very soon. The Elephant is in Group B, which means sometime in the next couple of weeks, it'll be time to hear them perform for the first time (along with the Banana, Frog, Mouse, Taco, and Kitty.
3. One theory is that the Elephant is Will I. Am.
On The Masked Singer subreddit, some fans are convinced that the Elephant is Will I. Am from the Black Eyed Peas, which makes sense — he seems to be into the style that the Elephant costume was designed in, especially since it looks similar to what fans would see in a video from the Band, as one Redditor pointed out.
4. The clue so far isn't making anything too clear.
So far, the show itself hasn't thrown many clues fans way, minus this Instagram post before the full costume was revealed.
"Play that trunk-y music" could have just been a pun used to tip fans off that this was going to be an elephant costume ... or is it a sign that the celeb inside is really into funk? It's hard not to read too much into every little detail when so few clues are available at this point.
5. Fans on Instagram are taking guesses.
Fans commenting on The Masked Singer Instagram post are making their guesses as well. Some are on board with the Will I. Am theory while others think it could be singer Tori Kelly, but most people are simply talking about how cool the design is. Looks like the Elephant could end up being a major fan favorite this season.
6. Who is the Elephant on The Masked Singer? Time will tell.
With just a few episodes standing between the Elephant and his or her first performance, we'll find out very soon who it could be.
But there are a lot of performances to look forward to in the meantime... and maybe more clues will drop before then, too.
