TikTok Stars Charli D'Amelio And Chase Hudson Are Being Shipped By Fans — Are They Dating?

Both having gained massive fame on the app (especially while showing off their adorable friendship), Charli D'Amelio and Lil Huddy (real name: Chase Hudson) have been sparking dating rumors for awhile. Now, we're gonna need answers.
Are Lil Huddy and D'Amelio dating, or are they serious when they say they're just friends?
1. Lil Huddy and D'Amelio have both found massive fame on TikTok.
D'Amelio and Huddy are best known for their internet fame — and so far, they've both become massive stars on TikTok. Huddy, 17, has over 8 million followers on his account, while D'Amelio, 15, boasts over 16 million. They frequently collaborate on videos, and that seems to be what kicked off the speculation that they could be dating.
But now, it seems like there might actually be a little truth behind those dating rumors.
2. They currently collaborate together in Hype House in Los Angeles.
Huddy helped found Hype House, a mansion in LA where he and other TikTok and YouTube stars work, play, and live together. He and D'Amelio both live in the house, but since Charli is still in school, she and her sister (and fellow creator) Dixie D'Amelio live primarily with their family in Connecticut but spend as much time in Los Angeles as they can.
Despite D'Amelio's age, her parents are supportive of her, and she says that being part of Hype House after quickly gaining TikTok fame has helped her leave her comfort zone.
“I grew up in the dance competition world — everyone’s dream is to dance onstage. I’ve been a performer my whole life,” D'Amelio said in an interview. “I say all the time, this is a dream. I’m living out everything I’ve ever wanted to do so early.”
3. But are D'Amelio and Lil Huddy dating? They were seen kissing on New Year's Eve.
Although the video was originally shared on Snapchat, Instagram gossip account TikTokRoom re-shared a video that shows D'Amelio and Huddy kissing on New Year's Eve, seemingly confirming they're in a relationship without really confirming it.
Since then, fans have been especially curious to know what's going on between the two of them.
4. Before that, they were also spotted holding hands.
The same gossip account also shared a photo originally taken by a fan that showed D'Amelio and Huddy holding hands while they walked together in a Target store at the end of December.
Although it seems fans believe that they've been dropping hints about being a couple for a long time, this photo and the video of their kiss is what seems to have people truly convinced that they're actually together.
5. Lately, their couple-y Instagram photos are making fans raise their eyebrows.
D'Amelio didn't offer up much in the way of an explanation when she posted these photos of her and Huddy together on December 21, but their poses certainly suggest that they're more than just friends.
Huddy has also posted similar photos to his Instagram account, including ones where his arms are around her.
6. They have yet to confirm a relationship publicly.
As far as D'Amelio and Huddy are willing to admit, they're just friends — in fact, in an Instagram photo that D'Amelio posted in December, she and Huddy are "best friends," but it's easy to wonder if there's more to it than that.
Hopefully, they'll fill fans in on what's really going soon, but in the meantime, it seems like people will still be on the hunt for clues one way or the other.
