Toni Garrn And Alex Pettyfer Are Engaged After He Popped The Question On Christmas Eve

Instagram It’s been a very busy cuffing season, and celebrity engagements are all over the place — including one that involves Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex.
It’s official: Toni Garrn and Alex Pettyfer are engaged! Apparently, he popped the question on New Year’s Eve, so it looks like we have another celeb wedding to look forward to soon, and it seems that the happy couple couldn’t be more excited about their future together.
But who is Toni Garrn, Alex Pettyfer's fiancé? Here’s everything you need to know about her.
1. Who is Toni Garrn? She's a German model who’s found a lot of success in the US.
Garrn got her start as the face of Calvin Klein back in 2008, and, since then, her career seems to have been a very busy one. She later went on to become a Victoria’s Secret Angel, an opportunity that she shared she was very proud of in a 2016 interview.
"I think Victoria's Secret gives off a very powerful view of women — models are hired because they look strong; because they look healthy, because they're proud of who they are — and that's an important message to send out," Garrn said. "They don't look like your average catwalk model. The idea is, 'I worked very hard for this let me show it off.' No one gets on that catwalk and says, 'Here's me trying to be sexy'. They work hard. Like in any other job, you work hard and you show everyone what you've done. It takes a lot of work."
2. She heads the Toni Garrn Foundation.
When she’s not modeling, Garrn is an activist helping to empower girls and women all over the world. She founded her own organization, the Toni Garrn Foundation, which aims to “raise money and invest in local organizations and the development of girls and their communities,” particularly in Africa.
Through her foundation, Garrn works to build schools and provide scholarships to girls in various African countries including Ghana and Rwanda, while also creating environments for more early childhood development.
3. Her passions seem to include traveling and her career.
According to Garrn’s Instagram account, she's all about sharing her travels with her followers, especially her visits to Africa to work with her foundation in person. She also shares career updates and highlights, like recent magazine covers and photos from her shoots.
In the photos of her taken at home, Garrn shares her workouts and sweet pictures with friends and family.
4. Garrn’s most famous ex is Leonardo DiCaprio.
Going all the way back to 2014, Garrn dated Leonardio DiCaprio, and their relationship went public when they were photographed together on vacation in Bora Bora. At the time, Garrn was just 21 years old (she's now 27).
By the end of the year, it was reported that Garrn and DiCaprio had split, although they have been spotted together as recently as 2017.
5. She announced her engagement to Pettyfer on Instagram.
In her post, which she shared earlier this week, Garrn revealed that current boyfriend Alex Pettyfer had asked her to marry him on Christmas Eve, posting a photo of her and her future husband kissing for the camera as she showed off her ring.
“Christmas Eve the love of my life surprised me on his knees asking me to be his forever,” she wrote. “He changed my life the day we met and showed me what love really is - so yes I cannot wait to spend every day (well almost) of my life with you.”
6. The couple has been together for at least 10 months.
Garrn typically appears to keep her private life private, but her engagement to Pettyfer didn’t exactly come out of nowhere. It seems their relationship goes back to at least February 2019, when Pettyfer shared a photo of him and Garrn together at an Oscars party.
The dating rumors continued when Garrn and Pettyfer were seen in New York together — and the fact that they filmed the upcoming movie Warning together in 2019, too.
