Being that it shares so much about who Hart is, beyond his comedy and his career, it seems there are definitely questions about people who have been important to his story — including Hart’s first wife, Torrei Hart, who he was married to before settling down with Eniko Hart, his current spouse.

1. Who is Kevin Hart's first wife? Torrei Hart is an actress and comedian.
Like her ex-husband, Torrei has a career in the entertainment industry. Not only has she done her own stand-up and tours, but she’s also starred in movies like Dear Frank, The Workout Room, and Perfectly Single. She’s also appeared as herself on TV shows like Love & Hiphop: Atlanta and Atlanta Exes.
2. She and Kevin were married for 8 years and have 2 kids together.
Torrei and Kevin tied the knot in 2003 and were married for eight years before they went their separate ways in 2011. Together, they have two children: Heaven and Hendrix.
Although Kevin and Torrei have obviously been divorced for several years, they still come together to celebrate occasions like their kids’ birthdays.
3. Torrei has been open about her divorce from Kevin.
In a 2017 interview with Inside Edition, Torrei admitted that she and Kevin began to grow apart when he found fame, and it doesn’t seem like she appreciates being part of his standup in the years since.
“When I met him, he was selling sneakers. He started to get fame and I’m kind of feeling a little left behind. We grew apart,” she said on the show, adding, “I have an ex-husband who has repeatedly used me in his stand-up routines. For years, I had to endure that.”
4. Torrei may have been throwing shade at Eniko on Instagram.
In Hart's Netflix documentary, Eniko opened up about what it was like to survive Kevin’s cheating scandal while she was pregnant with his third child (her first) and now, it seems like Torrei is responding. She shared this photo on Instagram, writing in the caption, “Let that anger go girl you did it to yourself.”
No word on whether or not this post was actually pointed at Eniko, but it would certainly make sense — especially given that Kevin is rumored to have started his relationship with Eniko before divorcing Torrei.
5. She’s reportedly dating a younger man.
Now, it seems like Torrei is dating 31-year-old boxer Claude Staten Jr., and seemingly confirmed the relationship in an Instagram post celebrating his birthday back in November.
“Thank you for your loyalty, honesty, transparency, dedication, and passion to see me thrive and win,” she wrote at the time. “You are a rare breed and I’m blessed to have you in me and my children’s life.”
6. Today, it seems Torrei and Kevin are on good terms.
Torrei never shies away from sharing family photos on social media — even the ones that include Kevin and Eniko. Although she’s made it clear that she’s not happy with the way that things went down in their divorce — she said in an interview that "it does hurt that my kids have to be around a woman who broke up a marriage" it looks like she’s doing her best to put that behind her so she can come together and co-parent with Kevin for their children.
