How Aquarius Season Will Affect Every Zodiac Sign's Relationship And Love Life Starting January 20th, 2020
Learning to be ourselves is the hardest thing to do.
We get a chance to remember we are but and matters most with the start of Aquarius season on January 20th. In astrology, this means the Sun moves into Aquarius to begin a brand-new astrological season.
Aquarius is an air sign that is fiercely independent and refuses to conform to anyone or anything. This energy is coming in at a perfect time when many of us are at that point of making big changes within our own lives. It’s also a time when we are learning that until we are truly ourselves, we’ll never be in a place to create a life that fits us. To love our life, we first must learn how to love ourself.
The Aquarius love horoscope brings big changes to everyone, no matter their zodiac sign. And it starts with a bang on January 24th with the new moon in Aquarius.
The new moon in Aquarius will inspire us with beginnings and the courage to own our truth. This isn’t to have defeated any lingering fears we may have, but to stand up despite them and keep trying.
When we put in the effort to own our truth and be ourselves, we attract those who do the same, which means we’re less likely to give into the pressure of being someone else simply because they want us to. Or, it makes them more comfortable about their own life choices.
Following the lunar event, we see an active few days in which there are numerous transits with Venus, Neptune and Mars, including a square between the divine lovers, Venus and Mars, in Pisces and Sagittarius, respectively. These few days seem to be almost a war between what we imagine love to be, versus what we often settle for with a tipping point occurring between the divine masculine and feminine in which something is being forced.
This isn’t surprising given that we’re in a time of tremendous change, but it's something to be aware of. It's not in a negative way, but seeing those transits near the new moon in Aquarius likely means there’s some big beginnings in store for us.
Once February begins, we will feel a shift in the energy, but it won’t be that relief many of us are seeking. Beginning with a sextile between Pluto and Venus means we can’t hide from anything involving matters of the hearts, including our truth.
It’s reintegrating more of that energy and we can’t escape the changes that are occurring this time. We can’t deny or hide. Whether we made the changes back in mid-January around the eclipse, or we’re seeing our hand being forced now, it’s going to happen one way or another.
What we must understand about astrology and the Universe is that while the Universe may force our hand or make it impossible to not change, we still have to use our free will to choose it.
It’s not the same if we let it happen, or manipulate ourselves or others, but to walk this path of truth, to start to become our best selves, and raise our level of awareness and consciousness, we must choose to do so.
As we head into February more deeply, we’ll see Mercury move into Pisces, which will change our mindset at the perfect time. Yes, we’re still going to do things differently. Yes, we’re going to need to figure out our own path. But Mercury in Pisces is going to ask us to stop thinking so much, stop trying to be logical or figure it all out, and instead use our hearts.
Love is a balance of following our hearts but not neglecting our brain. Currently, we must give ourselves the chance to enjoy that Venus in Pisces energy, which means just wanting to snuggle up with the one we love and talk about the meaning of life.
We only get a little window of this before Venus moves into Aries, which can sometimes affect our ability to commit. But it can also give us that boost and motivation to go after what we want. That is dependent upon where we are in our journey, and whether we need to learn another lesson or are ready to walk towards that blessing.
On February 9th, we experience a full moon in Leo, which is the start of more fire energy coming in, and will refer back to the new moon of July 31, 2019. Since that time, we’ve been through eclipse season and made it through the life changing astrology of January, so it’s possible that what we thought was important has likely shifted since then.
Following our hearts may mean we start walking in a different direction, and we may reflect on those people we were last summer, feeling like we’re completely different now. But it's in the best possible way, even if we had to get here by traveling the hard-earned path.
From there, we see Mars move into Capricorn and our first Mercury retrograde of the year begin around February 16th. Mars moving into Capricorn means we’re likely to see the men in our lives more grounded and craving commitment, which will be a good balance as the feminine will still be feeling more fiery and passionate thanks to the Venus in Aries energy we saw begin earlier in the month.
The first Mercury retrograde of the year is always one to watch because it has a sneaky habit of bringing something back from last year that you thought you had taken care of.
If this happens, try not to be dissuaded; instead, practice gratitude for the ability to review and reflect on something that is clearly necessary for your growth. Just be wary. Sometimes, the Universe wraps up tests so they look delectable, but they set you back growth-wise.
Regardless of what happens, just trust that you’re encountering everything that is necessary for you, and be open to learning something new.
Aquarius season is when we begin to merge the lessons of Capricorn season with our own flavor of growth, because there’s no point in changing if we’re only ever repeating our pasts. Instead, it’s about not only learning from our mistakes, but also learning who we are, knowing it's something no one else can give us. But it’s also something no one can ever take away.
