Caitlyn Jenner Airs Grievances Against Khloé Kardashian On National TV — What's Their Beef?
The two just can't see eye-to-eye.
Getty Caitlyn Jenner set off some shocking news this week after making claims that she and Khloé Kardashian have not spoken in several years. This claim completely blindsided Khloé.
Caitlyn appeared on the British reality show "I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here," when she made the claim and discussed how things changed after her transition.
“I went through every kid and Khloé, for some reason, was pissed off about something through this whole process. Honestly, it’s been five, six years, and I really haven’t talked to her since,” she said.
Khloé responded that this claim completely blindsided her and she was confused by it. Khloé was always supportive of Caitlyn during her transition.
So, what’s all this drama about? Why are Caitlyn Jenner and Khloé Kardashian feuding? Let’s take a look at where it all began:
1. Khloé didn’t attend Caitlyn’s 70th birthday
Although Khloé may have been the only Kardashian sister to not attend Caitlyn’s 70th birthday, she had a reason — she was working that day. Many tabloids had a heyday when this news broke; however, there may not have been bad blood here because Khloé sent a big, beautiful arrangement of roses to Caitlyn to make up for her absence.
2. Khloé allegedly maintains a relationship with Caitlyn for Kendall and Kylie
Us Magazine reports that Khloé wouldn’t want to jeopardize tarnishing her relationship with Caitlin because she wants to maintain a solid relationship with Kendall and Kylie. “Khloé and Caitlyn aren’t the closest, but the idea that they haven’t spoken in 5-6 years is crazy,” Us' source says. “They have seen each other, they have spoken. For her love of Kylie and Kendall, she wouldn’t have a bad relationship with her.”

3. Things went sour after Caitlyn spoke unkindly of Kris in her memoir
In Caitlyn’s memoir, The Secrets Of My Life, she shared a few secrets about Kris Jenner that Kris did not take kindly to. “None of it makes sense,” Kris said, crying to her daughters. “Everything she says is all made up. Why does everything have to be that Kris is such a b**** and an a**hole,” Khloé said.
Kim Kardashian West said: “My mom's been putting in so much effort trying so hard to have a good relationship for their kids together. Caitlyn has every right to feel however she feels, but why bring my mom into it one more time? I just feel so bad for my mom.”
Khloé agreed with this statement and this may have ignited the flame to spark some disassociation and tension.
4. Caitlyn has allegedly been distant from the family ever since her transition
US magazine's source states that the roles may actually be reversed because it is Caitlyn who is the one acting distant with the Kardashian-Jenner family. The source adds in recent years: “Caitlyn isn’t close to the family as a whole. But this isn’t surprising. Caitlyn always has her own separate reality.”
5. Caitlyn snubbed Khloé in a Mother’s day post
In 2018, Caitlyn made an Instagram post recognizing all the Kardashian-Jenner mothers on Mother’s Day — all except Khloé. She captioned the now-deleted post: "So blessed to have so many amazing moms in my life." Caitlyn also did the same thing for Tristan Thompson that year, recognizing all the dads in her life except Tristan.
6. Khloé said she felt betrayed when Caitlyn made the transition
In January 2016, Khloé went on the Howard Stern show to discuss how caught off guard she was about Caitlyn’s transition. "We felt so like, 'what the f**k? We’ve been asking you and why do business people know? I don’t give a f**k what you want to do — just stop lying to us about things… Just lay it on the table, what are we doing? What’s happening?' Even then he didn’t tell us… we didn’t know when he was going to start fully dressing as Caitlyn."
In May of that same year, Khloé revealed the response Caitlyn texted her on Keeping Up With The Kardashians following the Howard Stern interview. “You slaughtered my mother and you have the nerve to say what happened to family sticking together? You jumped that ship as soon as you did Diane Sawyer and attacked my mom, and instead, [she] tells me to 'get a life' and shut up and I’m like, 'you shut up and you get a f**king life.' She can tell me to f*** off all she wants. I don’t have a relationship with her. I’m done."
