Instagram Chris Brown is back together with his ex Indyamarie. The two started dating in April but broke up when it was revealed that Brown was expecting a baby with his ex-girlfriend, Ammika Harris. Brown and Indyamarie were spotted out last weekend at L.A.'s Delilah and nightclub Poppy before heading to a house party where they were seen making out. A source told Page Six: “They’re seeing how things go, but she doesn’t want to jump into anything with the baby on the way. They were making out at a house party afterward.” After Brown and Indyamarie split the first time, she cozied up to rapper Megan Thee Stallion. Who is Indyamarie?
1. She's a model
Indyamarie Jean Pelton was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1993. According to her bio on her website: "Indyamarie Jean is a fashion model, musician, accessories designer, wardrobe stylist and media personality who is best known for her visual collaborations with a number of notable brands, including PUMA, Fenty PUMA By Rihanna, Journeys, Adidas, Apple, Google, Coca-Cola and Powerade, to name a few." In 2017, she signed with Wilhemina Models.
2. She had an abusive childhood
On her website, Indyamarie briefly mentions growing up in an abusive household and largely raised herself. She said: "Indyamarie essentially raised herself after enduring an abusive childhood. At age 15, she established a viral online fanbase and following, and soon after began to dabble in freelance modeling." She went on to say she relocated to Los Angeles, where she launched her accessories line.
3. She's at least famous enough to have a verified Instagram account
Indyamarie's Instagram account appears to refer to Chris Brown fairly often. A post from November 6 is captioned: "been down for u since I met u," another one from the same day is a post of a sign that says: "And then I met you." But a week ago, she posted the photo below and captioned it: "Headed out to my date. Bars and clubs aren’t my thing, now I’m on this app @meet_blk so I can find someone I was destined to be with! Click the link in my bio to check it out." So it seems the reunion with Chris Brown was rather spontaneous.
4. They've been on/off for years
Chris Brown and Indyamarie dated from April to June this year, but that isn't the first time they've hooked up. They were rumored to be dating in 2015 after Karrueche Tran broke up with Brown. Then, in 2019, they got back together after their spark was reignited on the set of Brown's music video for "Type a Way."
5. Indyamarie and Megan Thee Stallion
Indyamarie and Brown broke up in June when it was revealed he was expecting a baby with his ex. It didn't take her any time at all to move on. By late June Indyamarie was cozying up to Megan Thee Stallion at the BET Pretty Little Thing launch party, according to Page Six. At the time, a source revealed to Page Six that the model and the rapper has been "posting thirsty comments lately on social media. In one photo, Indyamarie lies on her stomach with her butt facing the camera. Megan commented on that post “Gurl turn yo ass around!” Then Indiamarie responded “Babe chill.”
6. His yard sale
Chris Brown has always been controversial, but this is downright strange. The rapper released his personal home address in Tarzana, California and invited fans to come shop his gigantic yard sale. He advertised it as "significantly marked down high-end items" and his fans showed up in droves on November 6th and 7th. Hundreds of people began gathering late Tuesday night. On Wednesday, the first day of the yard sale, news trucks and helicopters showed up to document the madness. The line to get into Brown's yard sales snaked down his driveway, out onto the sidewalk and was several blocks long.
